French niche house Maître Parfumeur et Gantier has launched intense versions of three of the house's best selling fragrances — Eau Pour Le Jeune Homme, Fraîcheur Muskissime and Vocalise — under the name Les Eaux Extravagantes.
Pour le Jeune Homme Extravagante / Gingembre de l'Eau Pour Le Jeune Homme (shown above) ~ "A scent of hesperides and spices such as nutmeg, rosemary and coriander reveal an intense coolness while wooden notes grant the scent a true personality. Ginger has been added for an exciting and elegant power."
Fraîcheur Muskissime Extravagante / Fraîcheur Muskissime Intense ~ "An accord of lemon, jasmine, and musk with red berries wraps you in intimacy. Fraicheur Muskissime Extravagante has had its heart and base notes intensified resulting in a sparkling, elegant fragrance."
Vocalise Extravagante / Vocalise Jasminée ~ "Inspired from the Bel Cantos Divas who voice extreme passions; this scent originally combined red fruit with vanilla. In this "Extravagante" version Jean-Paul [Millet Lage] has added Jasmin absolute specially chosen from Morocco to wrap Vocalise with extraordinary sensualism."
Maître Parfumeur et Gantier Les Eaux Extravagantes are $120 each for 100 ml Eau de Toilette, and can be found now at Aedes. (via aedes, additional information via Maître Parfumeur et Gantier at Facebook)
Nice to see them coming out with something new-ish after that scare a while back when they disappeared for a while. A difficult line. but even the ones I don’t care for I appreciate. One of my biggest loves, Secrete Datura, is MPG, and I bought Rose Miskissime blind with no regrets.
I think it’s a difficult line too, but yes, glad to see them “back in business”!
As is so common, the men’s fragrance sounds the most interesting to me. Ginger, coriander, nutmeg, mmm mmm, good! I don’t know this line at all, so it looks like I’ll need to do some more digging!
Eau Pour Le Jeune Homme is actually the only MPG I love, so really looking forward to trying this.
