New niche line Lilly de Rêve has introduced Songe Pour Elle and Songe Pour Lui. The fragrances are sold in sculptural bottles by Claude Justamon.
Songe Pour Elle (above left) ~ "Mysterious and captivating like a dream, Songe pour elle is dance between the sensuality of jasmine and the sweetness of orange blossom. A bed of precious wood stirs the boozy balsamic labdanum; sensuous leather lightens up with a white brilliance of musk." $450 for 120 ml Eau de Parfum.
Songe Pour Lui (above right) ~ "A singular and unforgettable composition. Powerful and eclectic, Songe pour lui opens with a spicy pink pepper and is met with a delicate heart of absolute Egyptian Jasmine. A delight of the senses; an olfactory journey that will carry you away with the deepness of cedar wood and the softness of saffron." $400 for 120 ml Eau de Parfum.
Lilly de Rêve Songe is available now at Luckyscent. (via luckyscent)
Those are even creepier than the Anna Sui Dolly bottles, and that’s saying something,
Notes sound fairly interesting…but I agree – creeeeeepy.
I have to say — these are way cool, but I don’t really want one. Just as well, can’t afford it.
How irritating for Goutal. Though I suppose there are as many “songe” perfumes as there are “love” and “beautiful” perfumes.
Probably. And it’s too small scale, I’d think, to bother AG.
Didn’t they make L’Artisan change the name of theirs, though?
Yes, I’d forgotten that! Still seems like this one is not so threatening, but who knows.
For the price tag, I think you’re buy a piece of sculpture rather than a bottle of perfume…
Oh, absolutely.
The notes sound lovely, but that price point is an ouch! I’m assuming one is paying primarily for the bottle…which I also find more creepy that artistic.
Ha! I love the bottles, however I knew these were going to be outrageously priced due to the fact that I want one.
Can’t it just happen one time that the price is reasonable?
Oh well, such is life…..
I vote for creepy…
It’s a head on a pebble with a lollipop sticking out of it.
Maybe it’s a jelly bean rather than a pebble? 😀
I’m glad there’s folks willing to take a risk, but I don’t think this one will pay off in my case. . .then again, I’m probably NOT their target market (somewhat counter-culture lower=middle class school teachers so rarely are!).
Whoops! Freudian typo. . .that was supposed to say “lower-middle.”
I love those bottles. But as sculptures, not as _my_ perfume bottle. And for that price a perfume should be extraordinary… Well, it might be – I’ll probably never know unless it pours on me from the sky.
The bottles look like parts of artifacts recently stolen from Eygpt museums !!! 😉
What?! 400 bucks for a bottle that would give me nightmares?! um no! I don’t care how much I might like this fragrance the bottle is a huge NO! for me.
