Canadian beauty brand Lise Watier has launched Frisson Neiges, a new flanker to 1996's Neiges fragrance for women:
Frisson Neiges, a fragrance whose every note recalls the giddy anticipation of a new crush! Like a feather tickling the nape of the neck, it starts softly, delicately, turning from sweet innocence to excitement and then to a blissful smile. Resolutely feminine, a nectar of passion, emotion and spontaneity. Frisson Neiges unveils intoxicating and delicious notes of passion fruit and papaya; then in a tribute to Neiges, a bouquet of white flowers and lastly a gentle creamy woods base so that the fleeting moment lasts forever.
Lise Watier Frisson Neiges is available now at Sears in Canada in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via sears.ca)
Oh, they got me with the top notes and white flowers. This would be nice for the summertime.
I don’t hear as much about Neiges as I used to, it used to be sort of popular on MakeupAlley. I haven’t tried any of the flankers.
They sure made it sound good!
That’s their job 🙂
True, but its quite rare that they actually succeed in doing their job well! Usually the hyperbole just ends up being funny, or it alludes to the kind of thing that is hard to get any olfactory impression from. Or its so flighty its completely vacuous, or, mentions so many notes that its hard to get any real idea…
Oh, quite so!
This does sound nice and summery—my first thought was that it would be a nice fragrance for a girl without all the candy sweet and fruitier fruit notes.
Might be. Admit I hardly remember what Neiges smelled like.
