MCMC Fragrances is offering a special deal on limited edition roll-ons of their Humanity perfume, which has been scenting a Brooklyn park for the last six months:
To celebrate the closing of the Humanity fountain, MCMC Fragrances in partnership with Trust Art has created a special limited-edition roll-on version of the Humanity Fragrance first edition, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Casa de los Angeles, a day care center for children of single working mothers and orphans in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
Purchase the fragrance through our partner Trust Art, and pay what you wish ($5 flat shipping rate applies across the U.S.), then we'll send your contribution directly to the Casa de los Angeles. Our fundraiser is for a limited time only and goes through November 17th, so please spread the word to your friends and family.
You can go here to purchase.
When I went to the site it says nothing about the roll on. Do you just buy shares and they automatically send it?
That is my understanding…but you’re right that it’s sort of disconcerting.
I decided to donate anyway (and I’m not in the US)…got an email that my order will be shipped next week so no issues after all 🙂 Plus, it’s really a great cause, although I wouldn’t mind a peak at their Annual Report.
Oh good!
I initially misread this as “Womanity” and thought to myself: “Sorry, I wouldn’t pay a penny for this, not even for a good cause…”
LOL! Can’t disagree…
here here!
LOL!
Has anyone smelled this?
I haven’t, sorry.
I took the plunge as well since it looks like a good cause. And agreed on Womanity=blech. I was hoping to like it and was sadly surprised just how much I didn’t. 🙁
Womanity turned out to be way more love it / hate it than I thought it would.
I donated (it is a for a good cause) and can’t wait to smell the roll-on!
I just received my bottle of Humanity today and it is quite lovely. The overall impression is somewhat aquatic with a hint of spice and made me think of AG’s Des Lys when I first smelled it. But it has an interesting balance of green floral, spice and a hint of wood all working together to make a very pretty and wearable fragrance and take on the lotus flower. I can’t imagine anyone would find it offensive, and while it isn’t the most unusual frag I’ve smelled, it’s quite pretty and I am glad I own it. Thanks for the heads’ up, Robin!
Oh good, I’m so glad you like it!
