Liz Zorn has launched Acousticjus, a new line of perfume oils:
The concept behind Acousticjus was to create a line of alcohol free parfums and related products. The feel is whimsical, light hearted and fun, with a motif of musical symbology and dragonflies. A little something, something for the young and young at heart.
The first series is called "Road Trip", and includes six fragrances:
Piquant ~ a spicy floral gourmand; "Intensely Ginger, Spices, Vanilla, and a mad dash of southland sultry gardenia. Sign me up baby!".
I-C-U ~ a woody leather fougère; "Black Leather, Cigarettes, Moss and Woods. Sensual bonding..."
Flamenco ~ a floral ambery musk; "A Ring of Fiery Roses & Spicy Carnation, Radiant raspberries and amber spice. Red Soled Stilettos & Jeans...."
Shameless ~ a fruity vanilla gourmand; "Full tilt Vanilla, a wee bit of wild strawberries, lush ripe pears and creamy chocolate mocha. Smooth..."
Dominion ~ "citrus sea earth"; "A bright sensual swirl of Incense, Lavender, Lime, Orange Blossom & Vetiver. Simply Sublime..."
Circa 1969 ~ an earthy vanilla patchouli; "Sweet Orange, Mellow Aged Patchouli, Classic Amber, Soft Sexy Musk. Retro Magic...."
The Acousticjus Road Trip fragrances are available in 5 ml roll-on, $26 each; samples are available. (via acousticjus)
Last week I discovered that Liz is in my neck of the woods (southwest Ohio). I really need to visit her studio as I’m not at all familiar with her work. This news came a bit too late for my niece’s birthday as a few sound right up her alley. She’s getting Twirl and Peace, Love & Juicy so I don’t feel bad!
How fun, do go visit!
I’m dying to take a trip down there…Soivohle Green Oakmoss is very nice!
Looks like more retailers are picking up this line too…
i just visited their website. i like how they list the “ingredients” for each fragrance.
🙂
A sample set is definitely in order! All of these sound good for one reason or another.
I too will be trying everything that I can to get a sample set. I love perfume oils and how long they last on the skin. Going to the website now…
I’m impressed. The price is fairly reasonable. Of course I like whimsy. And I’m a bona fide member of the young at heart. Flamenco sounds right up this gal’s alley. Thanks Robin for the post! 🙂
I.C.U. made me catch my breath a bit. I haven’t tried this line, but a couple of these are going on the list.
