Earlier this summer, Christiane Celle’s Calypso brand launched Herbe d'Été, a new unisex fragrance:
Calypso St. Barth's new summer scent captures all the things we love about this season; the smell of freshly cut grass, the spirit of an intimate family gathering, the aroma of freshly picked flowers & ice cold drinks infused with chilled cucumber or a juicy lime.
The notes feature cucumber, fresh grass, cardamom, bergamot, jasmine, black pepper, orange flower, hibiscus, patchouli leaves, Virginia cedar, guaiac wood and musk.
Calypso Herbe d'Été is $60 for 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via calypso-celle)
This sounds delightful for summer – but isn’t summer nearly over (she says hopefully)?
Ours appears to be nearly over! I am very late on this one, it probably came out in June or July.
Which makes more sense of course. With so many new releases, I’m surprised you’re getting to it in 2010! As for our summer, we’ve made it out of the 100’s and we actually got down into the 60’s last night. There’ s hope for Fall after all…
Sounds Delicious for anytime of year i think! i wear Fresh Sportif Scents in the Winter and Heavy Musky Ambery things in the Summer, whatever my mood is, that’s what i wear, season dictates nothing to me! 🙂 BTW, Robin. have you heard anything about the new Strenesse Gabrielle Strehle Fragrance? heard one was coming out soon but have not seen anything about it???
Yes, it’s on my list of things to announce…having a little “end of summer” rush lately and can’t seem to catch up. Maybe this weekend!
