Nautica has launched Pure Nautica, a new fragrance for men:
Clean, modern, and sophisticated, Pure Nautica embodies the epic strength and masculinity of the active man.
The notes include mandarin, bergamot and sea spray accord.
Nautica Pure Nautica is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via nautica)
Sounds groundbreaking.
🙂
I am surprised they aren’t using the same water technology they used for Oceans…maybe that one did not sell well, I don’t know.
Ouch. lol
I think I’m going to have trouble taking the word “epic” seriously as an adjective for the rest of my life.
LOL…so true.
The abs are pretty epic.
Yeah, and I am a sucker for that kind of worried puppy-face too.
I do not usually drool over ads, but this does it.
DROOOOL hehehehehe
They really are.
They are amazing!!
I don’t know about the juice, but if it makes my man look like that, I’m getting a bottle. I may even spray it randomly in the air around me. Haha
With abs like that I would not wear a shirt to work – just tie a tie around my neck (company policy is we have to wear a tie to work).
I had a friend who was a personal trainer…from Australia, and he pronounced “abs” like “abes” (as in “Abe Lincoln.). The first time he asked me how my “abe” exercises were coming I had not idea what he was talking about.
Like The Bottle, Like the Ad, Pretty Much have liked all the Scents produced by Nautica, but the description is Vague to the point of Abstraction! I HATE VAGUE! will try it still, but grudgingly!
Sounds like another aquatic waste of bottle, ad, and cologneisseurs sniff time.
Clean and sea spray accord promptly sent me running the other way. But then I suppose musky, earthy and with booze accord doesn’t really suit Nautica’s image, so I won’t be beating a path to a tester in my area any time soon.
This does sound groundbreaking. lol That’s a great one, Joe.
Actually I think Nautica’s campaign has one consistent (even outstanding) concept, which is the ocean vibe. Although I am not a big fan of oceanic/aquatic scent, it should be a great start to dig in something genuine, fresh and fun at the same time. Just like the one I remember from L’Artisan Parfumeur, Cote d’Amour. It’s genuine, fresh, and fun at the same time. Not your dull “fresh” aquatic scent.
But I think I worried too much for them. Maybe Cote d’Amour is not for Nautica’s targeted audience. *shrug*
Does the man come free with the fragrance?
