Hanae Mori will launch the second fragrance in the Eau de Collection range this August. Like Hanae Mori No. 1, the new Hanae Mori No. 2 was "created using renewable energy sources"; this time, a portion of the proceeds will go to the non-profit American Rivers.
Hanae Mori No. 2 is a woody oriental with notes of tangerine, black currant, mint, peach, apple, patchouli, white musk, teck wood, amber, cedar and benzoin.
Hanae Mori No. 2 is a limited edition, and will be available in 100 ml, $95. (via Women's Wear Daily)
Im loving the blue much more than the purple. No. 1 was nice. Just another fruity floral but nice. We’ll c how woody oriental it is in Aug. I have a feeling it wont be. : )
It is not my favorite brand, and admit I did not try the 1st one on skin although I did give it a quick sniff on paper.
Is teck wood meant to be teak wood? Maybe I’m just not familiar with teck wood.
Pretty sure they’re the same thing.
I love woody orientals! I found the Hanae Mori butterfly fragrance comptely horrifying, though — I think it was the banana-skin accord, ugh — so I would have to block that from my memory to test this one.
There’s always something about Hanae Mori scents that do not work on me, though they’re well-made enough that I wish they did!
Love the logo on the bottle but, is it me, or does the cap look like an old-fashioned hairdryer?
I love Hanae Mori, and those bottles are GORGEOUS.
It smells fine. Fresh & citrusy. Been there, done that. I prefer No. 1. And I still prefer the original Butterfly over any of her others. I didn’t care much for her Magical Moon. : (
Here’s #3. Where are the notes? Haha. Love the color. : ) http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/hanae-mori-eau-de-collection-n-3/3164256?origin=category&resultback=821
