French organic line Honoré des Prés will launch We Love New York, a collection of three new fragrances, in late April. Vamp à NY, I Love Les Carottes and Love Coco were all developed by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti, and will be packaged in stylized versions of the city's ubiquitous coffee cups.
Vamp à NY ~ based on tuberose, with rum and resins.
I Love Les Carottes ~ with carrot blossom, sweet orange, vanilla, patchouli and iris.
Love Coco ~ a gourmand with coconut, vanilla and coriander leaves.
Honoré des Prés Vamp à NY, I Love Les Carottes and Love Coco will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum; look for them at Bon Marché and Colette before they go into wider distribution in May. (via extrait.it, courrier-picard.fr)
Update: see reviews of I Love Les Carottes , Love Coco, Vamp à NY.
The notes don’t appeal to me, but LOVE the packaging! So fun.
It’s great!
Agree with that. Cute bottles, too. I did get excited about the first one, only because I read “resins” as “raisins.” The weird thing is, I don’t like raisins, so I don’t know why that would interest me.
Man, I read that as “raisins” too and didn’t realize. Until I read your comment. I dislike raisins, though. 😛
Ionno, these sound nice but not necessary. I love the packaging, though.
are the names “I Love Les Carottes” and “Love Coco” supposed to be related to New York?
No idea. They don’t know it probably, but many young people in the US will associate “Love Coco” with Conan O’Brien.
Intriguing, certainly, but none of these scents appeals to me particularly either – or evokes New York, really, come to think of it!
They all sound good to me! But it would be cool if they were all coffee-based.
I agree, they all sound great to me!!! But I must admit that I really like almost everything Olivia Giacobetti does so I am biased.
Given the packaging, I too was surpised that there was no coffee in any of the fragrances.
These sound fun ..I can’t wait to try them…Do you think they’ll be in NY somewhere?
Pretty sure Bergdorf Goodman carries the line, so would think they’d have it eventually.
What a great idea!!!!
Ooh. They all sound interesting to me and I can count on one finger the Giacobetti scents that I have smelled and not liked (Mandarine Tout Simplement).
I love OG, but you love her even more 🙂
Jump over to bergamottoebenzoinoATlive.it for first impressions of a couple of the scents, sniffed at Esxense.
I recently purchased a bottle of HdP’s Sexy Angelic from Beautyhabit cause they dropped the price to $68. Yes, it’s short lived, but I love it. Wish they’d offer it in an EDP…
Thanks, I’ll look!
Duh. Sorry. That was the email address. Here’s the website:

Perfect, thanks!
These do sound interesting but like you all have said, coffee packaging and no coffee notes? also I am not too sure that coffee is very NY per say…I don’t know I could be wrong….the one that sounds interesting to me and worth a sniff is the I Love Les Carrottes and I am pretty sure it’s because of the Iris notes.
~Alexandra~
I love iris too 🙂
Methinks it should be We Love Seattle…
I checked out other fragrances by Olivia G. In your listing, some of them are printed in black font and some in purple. Does this mean something? I’m still learning on this wonderful site.
The ones in purple are links to articles. The others aren’t!
Definitely want to try these … mostly because they are done by Olivia Giacobetti. She’s done some of my favorites!
Yeah, me too.
I love everything Olivia Giacobetti does. I must try Love Coco and I Love les Carottes. Seems funny.
She’s wonderful.
Definitely another big fan of Giacobetti here. Carottes is the one that intrigues me most just because of the wacky name and unusual material. And then there’s coconut, vanilla, and … cilantro? Wha…? Veddy inneresting.
I hope they are…I did think the first 5 from HdP were well-done.
My brain just refuses to accept this; I keep thinking, “Surely Robin wrote these on March 31 for publication on April 1?”
LOL! But no.
OK…only posting this here cause I went over to extrait.it to read the copy, and couldn’t find an English link to view it in English…then saw a pop up in Chrome that asked me if I wanted to translate from Italian to English – yes! And voila! Very cool!!!!
Yep!
coconut, vanilla and coriander leaves? if the coconut is mellow like coconut milk then I think this could be very promising.
Yes — I’m intrigued!
