“fresh, sparkling and impertinent radiance” What does impertinent radiance mean? Hmm? Armani Code Summer pour femme sounds interesting.
Beats me!
maybe that you don’t care who suffers if you over-apply?
LOL! Excellent.
God. FOUR flankers in one big egurgitation? It’s just getting worse, isn’t it?
I shouldn’t judge without trying them, but you can’t try everything nowadays–you can’t even really make a serious dent in the output nowadays–and I suspect the chances of even one of these being any good are very small. (Although tarragon….)
If it sells, it’ll get a summer version.
I just hope that the new Armani diamonds is not as weak as the original one.
You would think it’d be weaker since it’s a summer version…they usually are.
If they are going to continue to do seasonal flankers, I wish they’d put the year on them – just to make it easier for me. lol But also I would think if they started “dating” fragrances, especially flankers, because then it would emphasize the exclusivity and make the consumer want to collect them more. Kind of like the different vintages of wine. But again, maybe I’m thinking to much like a perfumista rather than the average fragrance consumer? I think Angela’s article further emphasized how blissfully ignorant I am of the mainstream consumer. 😛
Sorry for the crap grammar. lol
Totally agree, esp. since they hang around in stores for YEARS, so to tell is one is new you have to consult pictures of the bottles.
Far far far too many summer flankers!! Just doesn’t seem to end does it?
For me Code Summer Pour Homme sounds more interesting than Diamond Summer Him. Olive tree leaf, rose, gaiac and musk seems to be a funny combination somehow!
Armani Code was a more interesting scent than Diamonds IMHO, so the flanker is probably better too.
Ohhhh. When do they come out in the U.S?
No idea, sorry!
Tried both. They’re AWFUL. Chemical and cheap.
I am especially sorry for Armani Code, like Robin said here I was expecting more, but last year’s was better.
Still, we have Armani Mania Summer to look forward to …
And of course Acqua di Gioia! Yesssssssssss 🙂
Nile, where did you try them at? Do you live in the U.S???
Thanks!
No, I live in Prague, Czech Republic.
They are available at both Sephora and Marionnaud.
Marionnaud is another Sephora 🙂 except they carry Decleor, Shiseido, Hermes and other brands Sephora doesn’t have here.
