Infusion Organique has launched a collection of four personal fragrances:
Indochine (shown above left) ~ "Exceptionally sweet and fragrant, the kumquat fruit is native to China, Indochina and Japan...Indochine combines kumquat with peach, water lily, jasmine, muguet and vanilla. The blend is then infused with certified organic grapefruit extract, orange and ylang-ylang essential oils. The fragrant result: a fresh citrus and floral scent reminiscent of exotic French Colonial Indochina."
Acai Rain (shown above right) ~ "Infused with the tart berry accords of certified organic Açaí extract and sparkling organic orange oil – Açaí Rain combines natural raspberry and currant, white peach, fresh greens and organic vanilla extract. The resulting scent captures the transformative essence of the Brazilian Rainforest..."
Buddha's Fig ~ "Travel to Sri Lanka in Western Asia, and there you will find the world's most renowned fig tree. Legend maintains that this tree started as a cutting taken from the Bo tree, whose branches sheltered the Buddha while he gained enlightenment and perfect understanding...Infused with certified organic fig extract, rose geranium essence, organic lemongrass oil and blended with essences of wood and amber..."
Sands of Morocco ~ "Close your eyes, and wander through the fresh flower and food stalls of the local Moroccan Souk. Inhale the spices drifting on the desert winds of North Africa. Ride the train from Marrakech to Casablanca to Tangier. Smell the fresh vanilla first brought to Morocco by tne French in the time of the Berber Kings. Add a touch of aromatic sandalwood and warm oak moss to a blend of certified organic lemongrass oil and ylang-ylang for a scent as warm as the Mediterranean sun."
Infusion Organique Indochine, Acai Rain, Buddha's Fig & Sands of Morocco are $35 each for 50 ml Eau de Parfum, and are available now for pre-order at b-glowing. (via b-glowing)
Update: see a review of Infusion Organique Buddha's Fig.
I’m guessing I won’t be the only one to misread Acid Rain for Acai Rain..
Apparently not…
no, I did too. But the bottles are adorable! That Morocco one sounds interesting.
I also got interested on Morocco one. It`s the only one that doesn`t sound like sugar fruit sweet scent explosion.
And the best is that they don`t cost an arm and a leg! I hope they ship overseas…
The price is very reasonable. Take two, they’re small! (And probably smell better than the similarly priced Harajuku Lovers.)
They do sound nice, and the price is great. Haven’t tried them though.
It doesn’t look like there’s any way to sample them from b glowing, which is a shame. (Please tell me if I’m missing something. It looked like you could only get samples with purchase, and it was iffy as to whether or not you could request which samples you wanted.)
Miss kitty, there`s a section on the b glowing site where they`re selling samples of the 4 fragrances:http://www.b-glowing.com/perfume-samples/infusion-organique/
Thanks! I missed that.
I understood that you could buy the samples separately… Or are you talking about chosing free samples with another purchase?
the morocco one does sound interesting. i’ve been looking for a new spicy fall fragrance.
That one really does sound nice.
I can see these prominently displayed in some of the new-agey, “hip” gift/knicknack stores… not far from the Nag Champa incense and the quan-yin aromatherapy oils. Not that that’s a bad thing, it just screams a very specific market niche to me. Maybe it’s the Açaí (aka: trend du jour).
🙂
Is that the trend du jour? I didn’t even know. (surprise, surprise)
It’s in some beauty products I guess, but more of a food trend — one of the latest new “superfoods” that’s supposed to help you live forever or something like that (even though I read an article that debunked how it’s not even as high in antioxidants as some other things like pomegranate or red wine). Sort of like if you remember what blue-green algae was in the 90s.
Right. Well, I’m sticking with blueberries.
The *Acid* Rain one is not even a fruity floral…it’s just fruity. It’s a compote. Or _______________.
I’m lost, as usual…why do you think it isn’t a fruity floral?
well, other than fresh greens and the and vanilla, I don’t see anything floral. Even the acai has “tart berry accords” It just seems you could use the vanilla and orange oil to drizzle on the tart berries, raspberries, currants, and peaches. And the fresh greens could be used as the garnish.
I guess it could be considered a fruity gourmand.
But we don’t necessarily know all the notes…there could be florals, there could be all sorts of things. It could be an oriental for all we know…hard to say without smelling it since they don’t tell us the fragrance family.
Party Pooper. Sniff sniff. I fail to understand why they don’t list other notes. Are they ashamed of them? If Victoria Secret even listed a couple fruit notes it would be immediately dismissed as another fruity floral and no-one would not understand why someone was poking fun at it.
LOL…true, true! Although also true that with Victoria’s Secret, 90% of their fragrances are flankers to other fragrances that we already know. The likelihood of it not being a sweet fruit-bomb is minimal. Whereas I don’t know a darned thing about this company!
I read Acid Rain, then did a double take – surely not, unless they were trying to be clever … ? Then I read Acai Rain and now think Acid Rain was apt – would be reflective of the tart berry!
The bottles are cute!
I like the sound of Sands of Morocco.
Come to think of it, somebody ought to do an acid rain perfume. Comme des Garcons, maybe.
I might like the Indochine if the kumquat and peaches aren’t too much, I love the florals it has.
The Sands of Morocco sounds like something I would really like.
I’m betting the Morocco would be my favorite…look forward to smelling these.
Don’t suppose my path will ever cross these, but the fig one and the Morocco one sound lovely.
Yes they do!
