US-based clothing chain Express has launched Express Reserve for men, the brand's first fragrance:
Introducing Express Reserve, inspired by the moment the sun sets behind the skyline and the city streets come to life. Classically modern. Stylishly sexy. Perfectly aged. Express Reserve is the fragrance for the man with effortless style.
Express Reserve is a spicy woods scent developed by perfumer Richard Herpin; the notes include bergamot, green pineapple, Mandarin tea, cinnamon, coriander, laurel leaf, creamy woods, black pepper, raw amber, dark suede and aged brandy.
Express Reserve is available in 50 and 100 ml, concentration unknown. (quote via express, additional information via wwd)
I like the clothing brand. I will have to find out when the stores near me will be getting this in.
It’s for sale on their website but don’t know if it’s in stores yet…
That bottle looks like the Gucci Pour Homme with a smaller cap. tsk tsk tsk *shakes head*
Yeah, it does. But they’re out of new bottle shapes at this point 😉
They really are! It also strongly resembles the bottle for Michael for Men. In fact, when I first saw the picture of the bottle, I assumed it was a flanker.
Yes, the cap looks an awful lot like the MJ. Seriously, don’t see how they can help it at this point.
Well, I’ve seen some Express clothes that were blatantly “inspired” by Gucci’s collections, so I’m sure the same goes for their frags as well (or at least, the bottles).
I was thinking more Vera Wang For Men with the Color Scheme and such!
I’m not a fan of the clothes (although I’ve admittedly never ventured into the men’s section), but I like those notes. Will have to give this a sniff and also wait for them to release a women’s scent.
Would think a women’s would follow if this one sells.
besides the pineapple this sounds really good.
Maybe the pineapple won’t stand out very much though.
You never know…
Can you tell the Longevity ??
No, no way to tell without trying it.
This sounds like it will smell AWFULLY Delicious! Though that Black Pepper has me worried in the worst way (Original Joseph Abboud for Men anyone!?!?!?!? REEKED Of Black Pepper and not in any kind of good way!) though everything else seems to tap dance on some original ground! may be well worth seeking out!
I have not smelled the JA….
