Dresser Johnson, the team behind the Brooklyn Bunny Cam*, have launched two new limited edition room & body fragrances developed by Christopher Brosius of CB I Hate Perfume.
Brooklyn Bunny Lettuce is "a light and sweet scent as if you were cracking a head of crisp, fresh lettuce in your hands."
Brooklyn Bunny Apple "smells like the moment you take a chomp out of a freshly picked apple."
Brooklyn Bunny Lettuce & Apple are available in 150 ml Room & Body Spray (both in the CB I Hate Perfume water formula), and are $14 each at Brooklyn Bunny.

I like the postcard that says “Brooklyn is hard. Bunny is soft.” 🙂
Cute!
Great branding, but the last thing that comes to mind when I think of Brooklyn is apples and lettuce, with the exception of garbage days.
I think they’re supposed to bring to mind the bunny, not the city 🙂
Robin, is this another one of those joke fragrances? 😉
Ok, I guess I am just not hip enough to get this.
Hmmm…CB probably already had both Lettuce & Apple in his accords series, I’d guess, so no, don’t think it’s a joke! Cute idea though to link them w/ a bunny cam!
I. Want.
They’re cheaper than anything you can buy on the CBIHP website! Might as well buy 😉
I just did. Can’t wait to smell them. I love the smell of Chris’ water scents, and lettuce and apple have Summer 2009 written all over them.
Thanks Robin for the little push. 😉
I have the Russian Tea in the water-based room spray, and it’s fabulous. Lighter than the “regular” body perfumes, but cheaper. I just use it like a body spray (apply liberally)
Mike, the lettuce sounds especially delightful to me!
hehe very cute! ^_^
That bunny has bunliner!
He does do a good smokey eye! 😉 Who knew rabbits were so skilled with the kohl?
Don’t need the scents, but that’s a great logo. Where were these people in the Bond No. 9 contest?!
No kidding. It took me a while to see the bunny ears–I just saw the bridge. Very clever.
The logo is fantastic. I think that’s what they do for a living, when they’re not running bunny cam.
You just sent me back to the picture to see the bridge– all I saw at first take was bunny.
Too cute! I do love their logo, and love the bunny cam! Had to email this to my friend who’s a bunny lover.
I couldn’t get the bunny cam to do live updates…will have to check it again later.
I can logically appreciate the light-tight bottle. I like the idea of the fragrances. It’s new and different, and totally a different direction from the pretentious “La francais incomprehansihable” type things. I’m also glad that CB is doing other things.
But always with the critiques- here I go. Why is it that I can’t get my brain around the light plastic bottle? Every one that I see just screams “house cleaner” not perfume.
I’ve tried to think of another carrier besides glass. Metal, maybe. But it would have to be shiny. Like a bright glossy red. But not plastic unless you’re going to sell these things for less than 8 bucks.
My heart can’t get behind the plastic screw cap bottle, even if my brain would like it to.
Are there any exceptions to my own ‘plastic sucks’ rule?
No exceptions at all, imo.
Hmmm…in general I hate plastic bottles, but for the CBIHP line, it just never bothered me…they’re an indie line, & not “about” the packaging, and that’s ok with me. Also, unless I’m mistaken, he only does the room sprays in plastic — the water perfumes are in glass.
So maybe you could say if it goes on skin, it has to be in glass?
Why?
Not sure what you mean…you mean why does CB put one in glass & the other in plastic? I mean, the only difference IIRC between his room sprays & the body sprays is concentration…so presumably he just puts the room sprays in plastic to keep the cost down? Don’t know, you’d have to ask him!
