Miriam Mirani has launched Aqaba Men, a new masculine counterpart to1998's Aqaba for women. Like the women's fragrance, it is named for the city of Aqaba and inspired by "the legendary love of King Solomon for the Queen of Sheba":
AQABA MEN an erotic and seductive Eau de Parfum that’s guaranteed to heat up even the coolest of desert nights.
Modern and alluring, AQABA MEN moves effortlessly from day to night. Top notes of warm cognac and fresh lemon blend into white flowers wrapped in a green accord while the dry down of sandalwood and leather beckon the strength and courage of AQABA MEN.
Miriam Mirani Aqaba Men is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, and can be found now at First in Fragrance in Germany (160€) or at the Mirani website ($100). (first quote via mirani, second via first-in-fragrance)
The notes literally made me coo. I would *love* to sample this.
Me too, and reminds me that I should give the women’s another shot…at one time, it was too strongly oriental for me but it probably isn’t now.
Mmm, sounds lovely! Hopefully it will show up at Luckyscent.
Would guess it will eventually!
Very curious, though I fear leather. Love the bottle and the whole story of the line is interesting too.
That is a great bottle!
Ditto, except that I have too little experience w/leather as a note to fear it. I will say though, probably the best smell I ever encountered was when I accidentally spritzed my leather watch strap w/UJEM. Yummmmmm for days on end.
Do not fear the leather. Leather gooood.
Ennui over. Want this. Drool drool.
Glad to end your ennui, Dusan!
Nice to see an edp for men. The notes sound lovely, as well.
Yes, it is…seeing more & more of them lately too.
Mmm this sounds like one that “is for sharing.”
Could well be!
Definitely sounds like one for sharing! Except I wouldn’t have to share it with anybody! Ha!
🙂
I might have to drink some of this. Wouldnt want to waste a good cognac. And it will leave me great smelling breathe!
Might be cheaper to drink real cognac 😉
