Nouveau Paris debuted earlier this year with two ranges: Les Fleurs, with ten fragrances for women, and Dumann, with four fragrances for men:
Both fragrance lines create exotic and luxurious scents by using more than 60 ingredients from all over the world. Notes of spices blended with scents of exotic flowers and fruits, provide a sensual experience that is far superior to other fragrances in the marketplace.
The Les Fleurs range for women includes...
Azure Marine (shown) ~ "...presents the unbelievable freshness of the Mediterranean. This fine fragrance is inspired to dazzle by the incredible mixture of lotus, water lily, and melon, allowing a bright and clean enlightenment."
Feral Forest ~ "...the ultimate luxurious experience with its blend of soft and silky mixtures of midnight jasmine, amber, and vanilla, allowing one to drift into a world of modern romance, textural passion, and wilderness."
Delightful Citrus ~ "With its cultivation of orange blossom, jasmine, and sandalwood, this exquisite yet delicate scent can definitely turn some heads when walking."
Brilliant Garland ~ "....delivers the mixture of gardenia, freesia petals, and ginger lily allowing one to gist into a universe of modern legendaries, textural passions, and sparkling enthusiasms."
Moonlight Dusk ~ "...a blend of almond, coffee flower, cinnamon wood, and vanilla. Its remarkably smooth, sexy, luring texture is what gives women the extra edge."
Pink Burgeon ~ "...designed by blending the riches of the orient, Asian pear, tangerine, and Chinese magnolia, with the rose petal and white iris of the occident."
Sweet Grass ~ "...remarkably rich, and smooth. The top green notes are compiled to present this sweetness, formed by apple leaf, mint and grapefruit."
Tropical Mist ~ "...welcomes rejuvenation. This mystical scent is combined with its blend of violet flower, guava fruit, gentle waves of yuzu, and sparkling bergamot resembling one’s very own personal tropical paradise."
Unspoken Murmur ~ "...for the most elegant women. The classic fragrance features personal luxury and is an attractive edition to our collection. It is a landmark perfume, with its highlights of jasmine, lilac, rose and violet."
Blue Diamond ~ "...created with the world’s most sophisticated and expensive ingredients such as rose, jasmine, and plum, this radiance brings originality into life. Luxurious and glamorous, Blue Diamond is the legend of mystery."
The Les Fleurs range fragrances are available in 50 ($55) or 100 ml ($85).
The Dumann range for men includes...
Azure ~ "...conveys sexiness and sophistication in its own latent atmosphere. With its own mixture of Peruvian lime, water lotus, and vetiver mist, it reinstates chivalry to the world."
Onyx ~ "...establishes the mood of strength and masculinity. Unbreakable with its blend of black pepper, grapefruit, pink pepper, and orange, Onyx will make a man unforgettable."
Feral ~ "...designed for the refined and self-assured. Its touch of bergamot and sandalwood mixed with its complexity of rosewood conveys a discreet scent that will always be well ahead of the trend."
Dusk ~ "...has character to create the perfect garnish. Its pure scent of orange, mandarin, and black current [sic] mixed with Bulgarian rose and island jasmine fashions the surprising and mysterious man."
The Dumann fragrances are available in 100 ml ($75).

Someone should have told them: we don't need no new ranges with no fourteen scents, and certainly not all at once.
I wish them every success.
How many? I'm exhausted just scrolling down.
anyone smelled them yet? The notes sound very ordinary, unfortunately. Still, I'm curious.
14 scents is ambitious, esp. given the amount of product already out there and the economy.
14!
14? Really? What's the point? And not a one grabbed my interest in a good way.
How do you get a “Feral Forest” with main notes of midnight jasmine, amber, and vanilla? Must be a huge garden that missed a week of attending or something, spun by copywriters.
And, of course, the women fragrances are more expensive than the men.
Joe, you took the words right out of my fingertips! Fourteen? All at once?
and not one of them stands out.
oh, well…….
I think I'll get that Midnight Dusk, since I'm a women who needs that “extra edge”.
But since one of them is only for the “most elegant of women”, I'll probably be banned from buying it.
weeeiiird cooopppy,
-Becca
oops, misquote, my bad….”only for the most elegant woman”. Now I know I can't buy it.
-and why did they copy the Serge Lutens bottles? Couldn't they find their own?
Boy I'm a b***h today aren't I?
Textural passions? Does that mean you love to read perfume ad copy? 🙂
Womens everythings are more expensive than mens!
Pet peeve. Glad I am learning to enjoy more mens fragrances.
I can't believe myself, but I just couldn't read all of this. None of it sounded captivating. Or even interesting.
It's sort of how I imagine the experience of being in that store I have never been in– a Super Wal-Mart–you know there's something in there you need, but do you want to hike 47 miles up surgically-lit aisles of stuff-you-don't-need to find it?
The fragrances might be fabulous, but 14 is just. . .overwhelming
The scents sound boring, the names are boring, the bottle is boring
The song at the site isn't any good.
“The Nouveau Paris Foundation was created to aid students in their financial necessities through grants and scholarships.”
does that mean they might give me a scholarship?
These sound fabulous and I can't wait to try all of them!!!
Everybody — I fell very behind on answering comments today, so hope ya'll will forgive me if I answer everyone at once, esp. since everybody is saying mostly the same thing — too many scents, not the best ad copy ever.
This was reminding me of when Tom Ford released the Private Blends and I just refused to try them until fairly recently — there were too many of them, and too few hours in the day. Given that these don't have the “Tom Ford” big name factor or the fancy packaging, sounds like they've got an uphill battle.
Well of course your forgiven Robin. Everyone is allowed to have an off day, or even days. Lord knows I have mine.
You are usually amazing to me in how you even can respond all the time.
Your passion and consideration is invaluable!
to better days to come,
Becca
Funny, why didn't Robin include the layering feature for this fragrance? These fragrances have the ultimate edge; you can layer them that is why there are 14; the 4 for the men can make 16 scents, and the 10 perfumes can make 100 when layered. I'm surprised this information is not presented here.
Hmm. Makes for a good sick day excuse. 'Can't possibly come to work – too busy layering'
Thank you! It's hard to keep up in December w/ all the holiday stuff going on…
No worries. 🙂
Ha Ha Ha…i think i will stick to trying 2 of them Feral Forest and Midnight Dusk. I do think blasting all 14 or how ever many there are all at once is a bit much, but i think i will give them a try. At $55 for 50ml they are worth trying. So until then i will refrain from forming an opinion. These may be quite nice…….i will try to report back once tried.
Good — do report back!
