Aftelier is opening their studio to visitors for their annual holiday sale this weekend, Dec 6th & 7th from 10 am - 6 pm:
All natural perfumes including new perfume "Cassis", custom solid perfumes in antique cases, new solid perfumes, new bath salts, perfumed oolong teas, and much more. Gifts for everyone on your holiday list.
Aftelier is located at 1518 Walnut Street in Berkeley, California.
Hmm, I'll be in the Bay Area this weekend but probably won't detour to Berkeley even though I'm tempted to see the studio & sample some of their scents after looking at the site. Oh well — my perfume dollars will still end up being spent elsewhere sometime.
Ohhh! I don't think I've ever visited this studio before, it might be a fun trek. Might be good to check college football schedule before heading over the bridge. Traffic on game day is a nightmare!
Argh! I hate hearing about things like this when I have NO MONEY, lol. I am selling stuff at a craft sale that weekend but won't get my money from it for a while… drat.
I'll just pretend traffic was terrible….
If any of you end up going, do report back! Sounds like fun, and would LOVE to try those teas.
Is she offering discounts, or is it just an open house? I really want to try the new scent, Cassis. Anyone sniffed this?
Yes, there will be a football game on Saturday the 6th, with Washington. But since the “Big Game” with Stanford has already been played, and finals are coming up, and it's getting cooler, there may not be much of a crowd.
It's an interesting neighborhood, the “gourmet ghetto” that started back in the early 70's. The original Peet's Coffee is next door, and Chez Panisse is around the corner.
I haven't, sorry, and so far as I know, there aren't markdowns.
Yes, there's a ginger tea with rose that looks interesting. I like heavier teas around cooler weather. Sipping Vanilla at present (Republic of Tea)
Thanks for the info, always good to know. I'm thinking transit might be the way to go, just in case. BART is so easy. Didn't know the original Peets was located there.
They all sound good to me! I'm drinking a lovely anise green tea from Mariage Freres 🙂
