Verde Bosco & Tuscania are the latest two fragrance releases from Italian niche house i Profumi di Firenze:
Verde Bosco (shown) ~ "Take a walk in the woods with this sporty fragrance that captures lush pine forests, mountain air and earthy loam." The notes include grapefruit, basil, cassis, lavender, waterlily, geranium, vetiver, musk, oakmoss and cedar.
Tuscania ~ "A romantic fruity-spicy fragrance inspired by the majestic bounty of the Tuscan countryside. Mandarin, lemon and bergamot shine through a heady blend of coriander, black musk, red patchouli, vanilla and sandalwood from Mysore, India." Additional notes include petit grain, lily of the valley.
i Profumi di Firenze Verde Bosco and Tuscania are available in 50 ml; Tuscania will be exclusive to Beautyhabit. (via press release)
I would probably like the Verde Bosco, but I really do not care for grapefruit in fragrance. But then again, we all know what lists of notes are worth.
I love grapefruit, and grapefruit + basil sounds even better. But as you say…we all know 🙂
Hmmm, you like grapefruit? Something about it just turns me off. Have you sniffed Egoist Platinum? I liked the original Egoist, but the Platinum has a strong grapefruit/hops note that turned me off. You might like it, though. And I might be misspelling Egoist, but I am too tired/lazy to look it up, or go look in my fridge. Time for sleep!
I do like grapefruit, but not all grapefruit. Can't wear Guerlain's Pamplelune.
And no, I agree — Egoiste is better than EP.
