Téo Cabanel has launched Méloé, a green, fruity Eau Légère meant for year-round use. It is being marketed to women, but the company points out that men can use it as well.
Like the other fragrances in the Téo Cabanel line, Méloé was developed by perfumer Jean-François Latty. The notes include bergamot, tangerine, lemon, lavender, basil, neroli, orange blossom, jasmine, nutmeg, musk, amber and woody notes.
Téo Cabanel Méloé is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau Légère. (via shop.teo-cabanel, osmoz.fr)
[Singing] They call it Meloe Yellow (quite nicely). . . . If you aren't old enough to remember Donovan Leach, never mind.
Hey, I never knew he had a last name!
That sounds like some interesting ingredients, I'll look forward to hearing what an actual sniffer has to say about it. I haven't tried anything from Teo Cabanel, anyone have any comments about their fragrances?
Hope someone else will chime in — I've been bad & have only tried 1 of them, and right now can't remember which. I hear good things though!
I have Alahine, and if you love ylang-ylang (I do!), this one is definitely worth trying.
The other two did not make much of an impression on me.
Hugs!
I treasure their rose scent, Oha, though I always have trouble remembering the name. It's a gorgeous deep red Bulgarian rose done in a classic style.
March over on Perfume Posse has a nice tribute to Julia.
Thanks R!
Thanks! I think I have samples coming & will give these a try.
hi,
I wear Alahine for a few month now and even though I'm a man, many people ask me what it is. Julia & Oha are much more feminine! Especially Julia…Oha is a bit more spicy, it reminds me l'eau du soir (Sisley) but smoother.
Then, Méloé came out and I felt in love with it!!! My friend sprays a lot on her! I think it's amazing, too sad it's not supposed to be unisex…
Anyway, enjoy it!
Thanks, I look forward to trying it!
