Parfums de Nicolaï has launched Eau Turquoise, a new fragrance for women in the line's Eau Fraîche collection of summer scents. Eau Turquoise is a spicy fruity floral described as "gourmand and sensual, light, young and feminine".
The fragrance notes include mango, apricot, osmanthus, Key lime, Turkish rose, pepper, cardamom and Texas cedar.
Parfums de Nicolaï Eau Turquoise is available in 100 and 200 ml Eau de Toilette. (via pnicolai, osmoz)
Also new from Parfums de Nicolaï: Les Magnifiques.
oh
I cannot resist i will test it saturday …
I hope it is in shop 🙂
Please come back and comment then! I'd love to know how it differs from her other mango Eau Fraiche — the Eau Exotique, which I own and adore.
It IS light, young and feminine, I am not sure about sensual. Lovely though.
woot! no lychee! no pink pepper! no pink candied syrupy strawberries. sounds like a fruity floral i would be willing to give a go, not a recipe for a fruit salad!
Please review on PST, soon! And compare to Eau Exotique 🙂
I like almost all of the PdN Eaux Fraiches…in fact, could take that whole range as a summer wardrobe and be perfectly happy with nothing else.
I mean, you know, for one summer. Not forever. HA!
I was like, gee, she's really committing there (scratching chin in wonderment).
Time for more samples to ask for.
LOL — you know, I almost did, for a second.
OK 🙂 But I don't remember Eau Exotique *ashamed*
HA, shame on you for forgetting one of the world's 2 zillion perfumes, LOL…
Despite my aversion to fruity fragrances, I am keen to sample this one. I was so impressed with the fragrances from her regular line when I tried them in Paris. The friendly staff in the little store I visited also left me with a warm impression on me.
Nice to hear the shop is friendly, since I love the line too!
Immediately, I was struck how something that might be described as a “fruity floral” probably has a better association in people's minds just because it's a PdN launch (as opposed to the fear and loathing of fruity florals in general). I do realize that PdN is particularly known for its quality and its link to the Guerlain legacy, but still, thought I'd comment on the interesting distinction. Obviously it's not the “fruity floral” itself that's bad — just the way it's handled. Yes?
Oh, completely agree. PdN's Eau Exotique is a straight-up fruity floral, and is probably the scent I wore most last summer — great stuff. There are tons of great fruity florals, it's just become so overdone as a category. I have to check, but I think even Frederic Malle's Parfum de Therese is classified as a fruity floral. It has tons of fruit, at any rate, plus melon-y aquatic notes, but it is one of my all time favorite scents.
too bad
I stop at Comptoir Pacifique Sud …
R, just wanted to comment that I found the store staff very warm and friendly, despite the fact that they spoke almost no English and my French was embarrassing. We could not really communicate, but there was smiling all around, and they just let me do my thing, trying everything multiple times. They would appear every so often to give me new strips and otherwise left me unharrassed. Wonderful!
🙂
It is literally heartwarming to hear of friendly SAs, anywhere on earth, no?
