Paris-based rose florist chain Au Nom de la Rose has launched a set of Eaux de Parfum for men and women:
Au Nom de la Rose Pour Femme (shown) is a "resolutely modern" fragrance with notes of strawberry, blackcurrant bud, rose, patchouli, palisander wood and musk.
Au Nom de la Rose Pour Homme is an "elegant and refined" woody-aromatic fragrance with notes of bergamot, wild mint, basil, tarragon, moss, pine and patchouli.
Both of the Au Nom de La Rose scents are available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €34.

Jovan has launched White Silk, a new floriental fragrance intended to embody "pure femininity".
The fragrance notes include white peach, mandarin, jasmine, water lily, orchid, sandalwood, cedar, white musk and amber.
Jovan White Silk is available now in Germany, no idea when or if it is coming to the US. The range includes 40 ml Eau de Parfum and matching body products. (via jovan.de, cosmoty.de)
Why am I so disappointed that a scent called “Au Nom De La Rose Pour Homme” has no rose at all in it? It should, dammit!
Just a note on the aspirations of the new Jovan: I much prefer smelling of *impure* femininity, these days. Lots more fun!
My French is pretty bad so not sure I have it right, but think what they're saying over at beaute-addict is something along the lines of “men give roses to women so we've made them a perfume too”. Or something ever so vaguely like that 😉
Exactly!
I think that originally they were a normal shop with fresh flowers. They started with other products later.
