Stéphanie de Saint-Aignan has launched her 2008 collection, consisting of four new fragrances:
L'Eau Nirique (shown) ~ "...without a doubt the sultriest jasmine scent we have ever encountered. The citruses and spices in the top notes combine to give the star note, jasmine, a striking, nocturnal, smoldering quality." Includes notes of jasmin, tuberose, banana, coconut milk and white musk. L'Eau Nirique is $135 for 50 ml Eau de Toilette.
Blanc d'Hiver ~ "With notes of pear, white lilies and iris, the scent is snow-white, juicy, luminous and cool, as delectable as holiday treats and as energizing and nerve-tingling as a brisk walk on a freezing day." Additional notes include white musk. Blanc d'Hiver is $135 for 50 ml Eau de Toilette.
Li Altarelli ~ "...Stephanie Saint-Aignan’s ode to the island of Corsica", with notes of lemon, galbanum, lavender, floral violet, marine notes and everlasting flowers. Li Altarelli is $135 for 50 ml Eau de Toilette.
Berberiades Extreme ~ "The more intense and spicier version of Saint-Aignan’s Marrakech-inspired fragrance", with notes of citrus, precious woods (sandalwood, cedar, ambroxan), ginger, cinnamon, sweet vanilla, incense, patchouli and amber. Berberiades Extreme is $150 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
Stephanie de Saint-Aignan L'Eau Nirique, Blanc d'Hiver, Li Altarelli & Berberiades Extreme are available now at luckyscent.
Mmmmm….can't wait to test these at Scent Bar!
Hugs!
I am expecting samples of these Stephanie de Saint-Aignan scents any day now from the lovely Marina at PST. The Berberiades Extreme and L' Eau Nirique sound like they could be included in Chandler Burr's new Scent Dinners!!
Hey, let me know how they are! And hugs to you, as always 🙂
Ah, then do let me know how they are! Have never tried anything from the line.
Just got the sample for Li Altarelli and Berberides, which is lovely, but not for me in the summer. Just my head; the scent might suit anyone who has lived in Morocco and identifies spices with the open spice market in the sun.
Li Altarelli, however, is sigh-worthy. The mix of galbanum, violet leaf and imortelle is blended flawlessly, and the waft is the breeze from the ocean. While I am not a fan of marine notes, this has just a tiny touch of it, which I can easily confuse with the imortelle, and it is simply perfect. It's not cheap, but I find myself weakening. . . Absolutely FBW
I have the samples but haven't cracked them yet…am SO behind!
