Crazylibellule and The Poppies has launched a trio of new fragrances, Les Olfactives. Unlike the line's previous offerings of solid twist-up perfumes (now called "Crazy Sticks"), the new scents are in liquid form.
L'Olfactive 122 is a fresh fruity floral, meant to evoke a Saturday morning in the French countryside. The notes include pink grapefruit, apple, tangerine, rose, peony, ozone, musk and sandalwood.
L'Olfactive 127 is an afternoon nap in the south of France, and another fruity floral. This one includes apricot, tangerine, green notes, rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, orange blossom, musk and sandalwood.
L'Olfactive 129 is a summer evening in Basque country. The notes for this floriental fragrance feature bergamot, tangerine, orange, ylang ylang, honey, pepper, elemi, vanilla, amber and patchouli.
Crazylibellule and The Poppies L'Olfactive 122, 127 and 129 are 72€ each for 100 ml, concentration unknown. (via beaute-test, abcbeaute)
Oh thank goodness! I've been searching *everywhere* for a fruity floral and was getting frustrated by the lack of selection out there. (heh)
“Heh” indeed! Your snarky comment made me laugh out loud, and for that I thank you.
But as Robin noted yesterday, the tide may be turning; the market for those bubble-gummy scents just might be oversaturated, at long last, and we'll get some variety.
Really, I'm a hypocrite. I own and wear one of the sweetest, fruitest florals ever made (Juicy Couture. Though for the record, I don't wear the sweatpants with phrases on the tush. I do have some dignity left to me).
I just like the idea of diversity in the marketplace, and my perfume cabinet. 🙂
I was surprised they were doing liquids at all — these don't have nearly the “fun factor” of the solids. Beyond that, you're so right that these don't sound too compelling.
