Bath & Body Works has introduced a new fragrance, Irresistible Apple:
In designing this irresistible fine fragrance, our master perfumers envisioned voluptuous, sun-kissed red apples blended with wild berries and embellished with blond woods, soft musk and natural cinnamon bark.
Additional notes include bergamot, plum, white rose, orange flower, lotus, iris, amber, sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli and praline.
Bath & Body Works Irresistible Apple is $18.50 for 50 ml Eau de Toilette, and is also available in matching body and home fragrance products. It is currently part of a buy 3 get 1 free Signature Collection deal. (via bathandbodyworks)
Is this the only new fall scent from them? I thought there were at least two every fall…I hope it doesn't smell like one of those glade sprays. Most things with apple and cinnamon do remind me of them.
This is their 13th or 14th scent so far this year, so I'm quite sure there is more to come!
Yeah this one smells terrible. Actually, it's nothing like Apple Cinnamon. It's more like an overly-fresh apple sort of scent, with like strange soft floral notes or something. It does smell kind of like fall, but it's not deep or “luscious” or anything.
The next two fall fragrances (and should be the last 2 of the year… maybe) are Blackberry Amber and Velvet Tuberose. I'm honestly looking very foward to these two, as they both sound like they could be very, very good. I have high expectations, because I've only liked 2 of the … 7 (now 8, with apple) fragrances they've had this year (though it does seem like 13 or 14, lol).
Went to count, and this is number 11 for the year, assuming you don't count the LE bottles of Moonlight Path & Sweet Pea and assuming I didn't miss any 🙂
Velvet Tuberose sounds lovely!
Oh, that's right! I forgot abou the Ile de Tahiti collection. But those three weren't part of the signature collection (not to mention they've already been long discontinued), which is why they slipped my notice.
I tried the Velvet Tuberose today in the smaller size lotion (th 2oz trial size), it's actually very good. It's very simple (there doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on besides the tuberose), but it feels a bit strong at first. Overall, it's a nice, simple sort of fragrance.
Aha, will have to look for the Velvet Tuberose then, sounds nice!
The trial lotions for velvet tuberose are only $2. So that's a good price to test the scent. I think I'll wait till the whole line comes out late this month.
Yeah, I can't wait till it comes out either. (It's October 15th, btw)(Blackberry amber is supposed to come out late this month… the 24th I think).
I've decided there's nothing velvetty about it at all. But it's still a very intriguing fragrance. I've been plastering the lotion on my hands every since i bought a bottle, trying to figure it out. Personally, it's nothing I would want to wear as a fragrance, but I think it'll be great in the shower (it seems like a shower scent to me, lol).
