Demeter has launched Crayon, a new fragrance:
Inspired by childhood, Demeter’s Crayon smell just like that new box of Crayolas® you opened on your first day of school.
Invented by cousins, Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith, Crayola® brand’s first box of eight Crayons made its debut in 1903. Crayons were sold for a nickel and were available in only a limited variety of colors. Today, there are over 64 colors and more than 100 types of crayons being made.
Crayola® also makes crayons that smell like flowers, so it only seems appropriate that Demeter make cologne that smells like crayons!
Demeter Crayon is available in 15 ml Cologne Mini-Splash, 30 or 120 ml Cologne Spray, and in matching bath & body products and Room Spray. Many thanks to magicmarti for the tip! Update: see a brief review of Demeter Crayon.
Man, I must say… I really get this company's concept.
Just the mention of the word Crayons brings to mind the smell and memories of elementary school or earlier.
I will never stop being amazed of the power of smell to conjure up powerful memories, olfactory and otherwise.
Crayons are a great smell, aren't they? Somehow, I missed their Play Doh scent entirely and never got to smell it, but hope to smell this one. I have plenty of crayons in the house to compare 🙂
Oh, wow, how cool is THIS…
Could be a good one 🙂
The smell of a box of crayons its gross to me. I can't imagine spraying it all over my body.. I'd be queezy!
LOL — I like the smell, brings back memories & all that 🙂
Demeter is fun and I've loved a number of their line (especially some of the old CrisBrosius originals like Tomato). The quality these days has lapsed. I bought a bunch of the new small bottles and tossed several – Ivy smells like soap, one smelled like nothing. They last for 5 minutes. What a shame.
I agree but how about as a room spray – a fun scent for a children's party room!
Have you tried the CB I Hate Perfume line? He still carries lots of single notes & accords, although not all are on his website.
