Gianfranco Ferre will launch GF Ferre Bluemusk this month. The unisex fragrance was developed by perfumer Pierre Bourdon and is geared towards a young audience.
Bluemusk combines accords from the four elements: air, water, fire and earth. The notes include bergamot, mandarin, pineapple, melon, blackcurrant, jasmine, lavender, violet, patchouli, vetiver, mahogany, grey amber and gunflint.
GF Ferre Bluemusk will be available in Eau de Toilette, Body Lotion and Shampoo & Shower Gel. (via cosmeticnews, moda.it, crisalidepress.it)

Next month, Mexx will launch a new set of fragrances, Fly High Woman & Fly High Man.
Mexx Fly High Woman is a fruity floral with notes of red currant, watermelon, yuzu, may rose, stephanotis, lilac, cedar, sandalwood and white musk. It will be available in 40 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette, 60 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.
Mexx Fly High Man is an aromatic citrus with notes of basil, black currant, tangerine, saffron, geranium, heliotrope and woods. Fly High Man will be available in 50 or 75 ml Eau de Toilette or in matching grooming products. (via cosmoty.de)
Bluemusk is “geared towards a young audience”? Of course it bloody well is. Who on earth would want to make a scent for all us old fogies of thirty or forty? We don't have any money or taste.
And Mexx is launching yet another effing fruity floral for women and yet another effing aromatic citrus for men. Imagine!
Sorry. I had a gross day at work.
Hope your day is going better by now!
Jaeger London is about the only fragrance I've seen lately that calls itself “adult” and even uses the word “mature” in the ad copy. I'm tempted to buy it unsniffed 🙂
