Modern Alchemy's solid perfumes are housed in faux pocket watch compacts tied with black silk bows, and come in three fragrances:
Yuzu Flower ~ a "delicate, refreshing, brisk blossom embracing grace and femininity".
Cassis Bud ~ "green and sensual".
Lily of the Valley ~ a "delicate white floral".
The perfumes are $24 each in a soy and maple wax solid formula, at b-glowing.
I think those are so pretty … I wish I felt like I had a better track record with solids, although I guess at that price I wouldn't be risking much trying the Yuzu.
M, they really are pretty, and I am a big fan of solids…but I don't like ordering unsniffed either.
I haven't used a solid fragrance since I was 7 years old. It was an old orange blossom-like fragrance for kids from Avon….
Do solid scents last long?
My experience with solids is admittedly limited — I have a few, but there aren't tons of them out there these days. Most of them seem to have decent lasting power!
Those are entirely too pretty. “Green and sensual.” I may deserve something pretty.
The packaging really does look very nice. I am hankering after Yuzu Blossom myself.
And I'm *sure* you deserve something pretty.
