Penhaligon's has launched a new fragrance, Lily & Spice:
The White Lily petals express sensuality but also the light of the Renaissance with an undeniable Green freshness. The Yellow pistil symbolises the spice of the saffron notes giving the perfume its deep complexity. The Brown patchouli with the intensity of its note definitely roots the white lily into the earth of the English garden where it belongs whilst evoking the darker carnal side of the perfume.
Lily & Spice is available now in the UK in 50 and 100 ml bottles of Eau de Parfum and in a scented candle, and should launch in the United States shortly. (via Penhaligons website)

R — I'd never seen a Penhaligon's bottle until my trip to Vienna, and the bottles are so lovely. So I can't help but giggle at your image — maybe it's the American in me, but all I see is a cowboy in a big, black hat! Draw, pardner!
M, how can that be — isn't there still a Penhaligons boutique in the Saks at Tysons Galleria?
I love the etched bottles especially — I think it is Artemisia? — they are really lovely. And drat, now all I see is a cowboy too!
R, not that I can find. They took all the fragrance and jammed them into one tiny corner. It's probably half the size and 1/3 the product of the one in Chevy Chase. Weird, considering the equally chichi location…
Oh, that is too bad, it was a pretty little boutique just to the left as you walked in, and the fragrance area was pretty big in general. Ah well, you still have Arts & Flowers so you can't complain 😉
