Miele Rosa is the latest fragrance from i Profumi di Firenze, and the first created in collaboration between Miryana Babic of Isabella Imports and Florentine perfumer Alessandro Morsiani.
With Miele Rosa, Babic "sought to create an all-natural aromatherapy-type of perfume that conveyed the sensuality and luxury of a honey, milk and rose petal bath":
The notes are wild orange blossom honey from Sicily and Damascus red rose grown on the hillsides of Tuscany. Luscious and arresting top notes of golden honey give the velvety smooth rose a liqueured incense quality with a whisper of woody undertones. Beeswax bottom notes result in a creamy delicious rose base. The perfume is made with organic roses and organic honey.
Miele Rosa is a limited edition Eau de Parfum and will be exclusive to Barneys, where it will debut this weekend, $98 for 50 ml. (via press release)
