The latest limited edition from Lacoste will be Touch of Sun (shown at right), "inspired by the excitement and zest of feminine creativity, free from inhibitions". The notes include bergamot, grapefruit, green notes, acquatic notes, rose, peony, jasmine, vetiver, musk and sandalwood. I just tested Touch of Sun on a paperstrip today, but it really didn't do much for me. Smells like too many other light female scents.
Thanks for commenting. I like one of the Lacostes for women but at the moment I can't remember which one — might be the regular?
I wore a Lacoste for a short time about a year and a half ago. It was “Lacoste Pour Femme”, came in nude pink packaging that was textured like a polo. The bottle was clear with a silver cap.
I believe the scent was touched with Jasmin-Sambac, pepper and something else, that gave it a sweet-creamy quality. It was very feminine. While I grew a little bored with it, I continue to like it, I'll catch a whiff when I stumble upon my near empty bottle.
That might be the one I liked, but honestly can't remember. I'll need to find a tester…
