New perfume book from Firmenich
Afrique en Parfums, by French photographers Veronique Durruty and Patrick Guedj, is "a journey through the African continent". The book is accompanied by six fragrances created by Alberto Morillas, Daphne Bugey and Marie Salamagne: Peau ébène, Ambre et or, Luxuriance nature, Portrait Masaï, Arôme de narguilé, and Thé bleu. They can keep the book. But I want the scents! Especially Arôme de narguilé and Thé bleu. I wonder in what form do the fragrances come, are these little bottles, vials, or just scent strips?
M, I have the book but have yet to crack open the bottles…will do so soon. They are small bottles, guessing 5 ml? You can also buy the book without the bottles, but you can't buy just the bottles!
Hello there; first-time commenter and long-time lurker here. Thanks for hours of entertainment! Would you have any idea on where we can buy the book and bottles? Froogle turns up nothing, nor does searching on WWD, Firmenich, and Amazon (I used “afrique en parfums”, “afrique” and “parfums”). Thanks for any clues!
Hi and welcome! You can find it at the French Amazon site (amazon.fr). There is a cheaper version (37 euros) without the scents, and a more expensive version (61 euros) with the scents. Unfortunately I have no idea what their shipping policies are, and my French is so terrible that I didn't bother to investigate.
