Here are a few more fragrance gift ideas for anyone who is joining me in doing all their holiday shopping online this year:
The perfect hostess gift: Bitter Orange potpourri by Agraria. $48 for a 2 liter presentation box (liquid refresher also available) at lusciouscargo.
Yet another perfect hostess gift: a set of six 3-oz candles in a gold gift box (with matches) by Voluspa. $36 at lacremebeauty.
From Keiko Mecheri: 20 deluxe sample fragrance sprays in a white gift box, complete with paper sample wands. $36 at your-cosmetics.
The Chanel Fragrance Wardrobe: .12 oz sizes of parfum in Allure, No. 5, No. 19, Coco, and Coco Mademoiselle, all in a velvet display box. $75 at gloss.
This is what I bought for my nieces this year: Disney fragrance sets, each with a 50 ml bottle of Eau de Toilette and 4 figurines. Available in Ariel or Belle for $15.99 at scentiments.
For the stocking: a lemon soap from Woods of Windsor. $5 at perfumebay.
Robin, what a treat to see postings over the weekend. I could get used to this!
Anything for the men?

B, Gifts for men? What a novel idea!
Just kidding…will see what I can come up with for tomorrow 😉
That Chanel set looks like a lovely gift to give and/or get. I'm giving up on pot-pourri – in my house, it seems to lose its scent the moment I open the packet, and then it gathers dust (is there a way to dust pot-purri?) and then I forget all about it till it starts growing mold. I think this probably says a lot about my housekeeping standards 🙁 But the Agraria box LOOKS lovely. Thanks, R.
N, My housekeeping is sub-standard too. I keep a big jar of lavender potpourri on my dresser, and when it starts to look really disgusting I just pour the top inch into the trash. Not something you'd want to do with the more expensive Agraria 😉
Curious…does your hubby read your post and ever take your “hints” about the things you want? I always wonder if you got one of those deluxe Ormonde Jayne sets!
(Also, I'm calling Paris tomorrow to buy UNsniffed the Idole de Lubin. I shall blame V if it all works out badly…since she got me started on it. I hope I have good luck like you did with Osmanthe Yunnan. K
Great ideas R! 🙂
Luckily I shop through the year and am all set! Well almost…
;D
K, Um, no! I truly doubt an OJ set is in my future, although still planning a post with my own favorite gifts for *me*.
Hope you love the Idole — and do let me know if I need to get it too!
N, I wish I did the same!
Thanks for reminding me about the Keiko Mecheri fragrance sampler. It's the perfect gift for a friend who I'm trying to convert into a fragrance junkie like me. I love online shopping!
I, that sounds like a perfect idea. Wish Frederic Malle would bring back their test kit too!
Great gift ideas! (Mostly I want them for me).
I would love to have the Keiko Meicheri set – how fun is that? Wouldn't it be great if more companies packaged spray samplers like that? I think it would hook more customers.
I'm not a Chanel fan, but the gift set sounds nice. I can get away with No 19, and Allure smells pretty good on me, so I would probably get some use out of it.
Unfortunately I think I might be getting a lump of coal.
Wholeheartedly agree: all companies should do sampler sets like that. It is a better marketing tool than most of the advertising I see.
OK, so I'm late to this — I just checked out the Keiko Mecheri sample set and the number 20 has been altered to 18, and the picture of the sample box has 2 suspicious looking emtpy slots. LOL, that's like finding a couple of empty spots in you box of Godiva. Sample sets are really a neat idea, it appeals to the collector in all of us.
Wow, that is ridiculous!! Hope KM will reissue that set though, it really was a great idea.
