Thanks to Vicky for letting me know that Fragonard has a new fragrance, Canisse:
An evocation of those early yet already warm hours of Mediterranean summer mornings when every fragrance is burgeoning: the spicy smell of basil and oregano, the sharp scent of tomato leaves, the delicate perfume of vineyard peaches, all wrapped in a full-bodied bouquet of white flowers dominated by jasmine.
And served up with a side order of tartines and confiture. And two grandes cremes. Yumm.
Hi NST – no comment about the post but a friend from DC just called me and said 'hey your perfumebuddy – you know the one with the blog just got quoted in the Washington Post Express” She is cutting out the page and sending it to me. Way to go…ha – when you become truly famous ala Turin, etc. will you still talk to us little people??? Cheers, F.
LOL!
F, I had never even heard of the Washington Post Express, so it is going to be a short 15 minutes, LOL! But found the PDF version online, here is the blurb from their “blog section”:
SMELL OF FAME
“It stays very earthy, and evolves into a subtle, sexy, your-skin-but-better fragrance. Eventually it is very smooth and soft, and there is something that smells wonderful but that I don't recognize. The white truffle?”

Thanks so much for letting me know!
Congrats, R! It was such a fantastic review, and it fully deserves to be on the front page! So exciting.
Thanks V!
Me, too, me, too!!! I feel that way, too! You and V are going to be snatched up by some publisher or editor soon and make lots of green stuff for your writing!
LOL — just sitting here calmly waiting for the green stuff to start rolling in.
Meanwhile, I smell good 🙂
