It’s Friday and it’s August. Maybe it’s too hot to cook? Our community project for today:  wear a fragrance that features a note that you might eat in a salad, or that you might grow in a vegetable garden…carrot? tomato? basil? rhubarb?

Happy Friday, plus happy Coast Guard Day and National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. It’s also Louis Armstrong’s birthday. Our community project for today: scent a Louis Armstrong song. If that’s too hard, wear rose for La Vie en Rose? Or wear something by Lanvin (he had a half empty bottle of some sort of Lanvin cologne on his dresser when he died).
