Happy Almost-Friday and happy National Grammar Day! What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in L'Artisan Timbuktu, just because it happened to be next to yesterday's L’Artisan Parfumeur Jacinthe des Bois.
Reminder: on 3/5, for National Absinthe Day, wear a fragrance with an absinthe-related note (wormwood, fennel, anise, etc). If you don't have one, maybe wear something green and herbal?
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2021, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

My 3rd L’Artisan in a row for the project, and I’m going all in with Fou d’Absinthe!
Ooooh, you smell great! I used to have a sample of that one, and it was really nice.
Which wins, of course.
Cristalle Chanel EdT
chanel makeup too
cashmere white & warren sweater dress
vanila orchid green tea
Love Cristalle – you smell elegant.
I love it too
Which do you prefer? The EdT or EdP?
I love both, but the EDT is wonderful anytime whereas I have to be in just the right mood for the EDP. So I guess the EDT has a bit of an edge, favorite-wise? 🙂
All very lovely
thanks!!!
Ohhhh, Cristalle is gorgeous stuff, a favorite I wore as a teen in the 1980’s. 🙂
Absinthe from CJ Scents: lavender, absinthe, amber. Simple but a really nice blend.
Yesterday was such a glorious blue sky early spring day in Seattle that I stopped work early and walked to a microbrewery to meet a friend for a beer outside. I’ll have to play catch-up today, but it was totally worth it.
Sounds like my kind of day!
It was absolutely lovely down here in PDX and I might dip out for a quick bike ride at noon today!
Happy to hear that some winter-weary folks are seeing blue skies and sunshine!
S0TD:
Kai perfume oil. I’m still craving tuberoses, although this seems far more gardenia to me.
Last night, I was finally able to sign up my elderly, vulnerable parents for vaccine appointments, after months of checking availability and feeling like a failed daughter.
Hooray!
Hooray for getting your parents signed up, that’s wonderful news!
I love gardenia in a perfume, have you tried Terra Nova’s Gardenia? It’s a beautiful dewey, stemmy gardenia, with lots of tender greens. A cheap thrill for sure.
Yes to FINALLY being able to get vaccine for parents! You are not a failed daughter AT ALL.
And I really like Kai oil, especially in the summer- it rises beautifully.
What Ede97005 said. A failed daughter would not have tried and would not have cared. It’s been quite a challenge for many to get an appointment, so good job! As my dad used to say, “ya done good, kiddo.”
Yay for vaccine appointments!! It’s been a struggle for many to navigate the hot mess, don’t feel like you’ve been a failed daughter at all.
Congratulations on the appointments! You are a wonderful daughter, and you smell good too.
Hooray! That’s great news.
So glad Dilana.
Wonderful news and you smell great. And, echoing the sentiments above, your perserverance in getting them appointments points soundly to your *not* being a failed daughter!
You’ve succeeded in getting your parents vaccination appointments, so I will echo everyone who has said that you are not a failed daughter!
Chanel La Pausa and a cup of black tea.
House twins
You smell great. I never bought La Pausa in the EDT but I thought about it. 😉
Ditto.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments about the cat/vet yesterday. Good news–the cat is responding really well to the medication, and is the picture of health! He got lots of treats for being such a good kitty!
Wearing Caleche today for it’s goes-with-anything, can-function-when-I’m-working-with-people-or-alone qualities.
Yay for kitty!
Yay! So glad kitty is doing better!
Missionista, what a relief kitty is better!
So glad your kitty is responding well to treatment!
How nice to hear that! I missed your news yesterday but am glad he’s better!
Thanks for posting the good news about your kitty!
Planning on PdE Immortelle Corse after my shower… feeling lazy and haven’t even fixed breakfast yet.
Isn’t it like 7 am for you? You still have time for breakfast!?
Yes, it’s now 8:15 and I managed to get breakfast. 🙂
That one is on my to sample list. I’m going to order the sample anyway, but I was curious: does this skew masculine to you? A lot of the PdE line I’ve tried has been solid for me, but always a bit “hefty”. Not sure I explain that well!
Hmm, not sure if I would describe it as masculine. It definitely smells like immortelle, which I perceive as unisex, but YMMV. It definitely has sillage and longevity. Immortelle is a very potent note.
I was thinking of anise today so I wore the breezy Aqua Allegoria Anisia Bella, completely unsuited to the weather but who cares? Surprising staying power for an AA — four hours later and it’s still going strong. I can’t tell if it’s still in production, but it ought to be: it’s one of the best of the line, I think.
You smell great. I have the same experience with it, really long-lasting. It’s discontinued.
Agree, and that is my plan for tomorrow.
Good morning all, my SOTD is Cucumber Baie by Fresh. Refreshing citrus, lily of the valley, cucumber, greens, amber, and musk dry down. I’m so glad I have a bottle of this.
I joined Noom yesterday to track my weight loss progress in the hopes I’ll be accountable and lose 20 lbs. It’s a little annoying to be on my phone logging in everything, I use my phone for the basics. We’ll see… I ate under my caloric goal, walked five miles, and drank 10 glasses of water.
My class ran late last night, I am so sleepy, but our Employment Law presentation went well. I must throw on the sneakers and head out the door!
10 glasses of water???
I drink about that much tea
Oh yes, I drink loads, in addition to coffee and tea. For meds, I take 40 pills a day, I must drink loads of water to protect my kidneys.
The good news is it fills my stomach and my skin is pretty clear. 🙂
You smell terrific! I might have a very ancient vial of it somewhere.
Smokeytoes, I joined Noom yesterday, too! Good for you for walking 5 miles, keeping under your goal and drinking water! I like the notes in your Fresh scent. Is it easy to find?
Nice! I started Noom on the advice of a friend who has lost 25 lbs and she is having great success with the program.
Unfortunately, Cucumber Baie isn’t easy to find, it was discontinued years ago. It truly is a beautiful cucumber scent, slightly floral, refreshing and green.
An Ebay search brought up two bottles.
I purchased mine from Fresh directly. I purchased my last bottle at the Las Vegas boutique, perhaps try calling there directly?
Thanks!
You’re welcome! *enabler pin awarded* 😀
Another scent that’s close to Cucumber Baie is the original W by Banana Republic, while it doesn’t have a distinctive cucumber note, it is very green and refreshing, and probably 90% similar t the Fresh scent..
Thanks everyone, for your good vibes to my doggie Yei. He is going thru pancreatitis and colitis at the same time. A very painful process that will take at least 3 to 4 weeks to get resolved with treatment and his usual bland, low fat diet. Crossing fingers he starts showing some improvement soon.
Wearing Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay. Easy to wear, which is exactly what I need now.
It is a cool, grey, windy day. Looking forward to next week when temps will reach the 60’s. Yay!
Planning to run a couple of errands at lunch time and grab an iced coffee on the way.
Happy almost Friday, everyone!?
Thanks for the update on Yei, I was wondering how he was doing.
Yes, bland and low fat is the ticket for a pancreatitis attack. Poor pup, I hope he heals and is back to normal soon! *squishes* to you both.
Thank you, SmokeyToes! ?
Poor doggie!
?
Crossing fingers for Yei! I’m sorry he is in pain, and wishing for a quick recovery ?
Also, I’m thinking of switching to iced coffee because diet soda is trying to kill me. Can you make it at home? It seems expensive to buy pre-made.
I’ve had good results making iced coffee at home with a french press. The key for me was using a courser grind than I used for making hot coffee in my moka pot.
My favorite method is from Epicurious or America’s Test Kitchen (yes, I’m a geek about this), take care not to use water that is too hot, it scorches the grounds.
America’s Test Kitchen *tip* a pinch of kosher salt reduces any bitterness and emphasizes the nutty coffee flavor.
https://youtu.be/-n7yjuTYrwQ
Epicurious
https://www.epicurious.com/expert-advice/how-to-make-iced-coffee-best-way-shake-article
Huh, so apparently I bought into the cold brew marketing and have been making iced coffee wrong. 😮 I’ll have to do a side by side comparison with the moka pot approach a try.
Home made iced coffee is relatively easy to make, and inexpensive in comparison to purchasing the store-bought.
If I tell you the easiest, cheapest way I do it at home, it would be an insult for iced coffee lovers and makers, so I suggest you follow the comments already given here ??.
I’m always willing to learn something new! Do share! 😀
Oh please share! I need easy!
Is it the “make coffee and forget all about it and then when you come back later it’s cold”? I do this all the time, lol.
Thank you, Lillyjo. It’s hard to see him in pain. I hope he recovers soon! ?
Poor little guy! I hope he feels better soon, for both your sakes.
Thank you!
Sending lots of healing prayers for Yei.
Thank you, Cazaubon! He really needs them!
Continuing to send good vibes to Yei. I hope he feels better soon.
Thank you, Vee!
Poor pup! I’m sorry he is suffering so much. Hope he feels better quicker than expected.
Thank you, Floragal! I also feels he recovers sooner than expected!
Big hugs , PL67…hope your little boy is feeling better soon!
Thank you, She-ra! ?
Sending well wishes to your pup!
Thank you, Dorsey!
Poor dog, that’s a lot to handle all at once.
I know! The older he gets the sicker he becomes
Poor Yei. Hope he improves quickly.
Thank you, Aurora! I hope so too!
? for you and your sweet boy. You are Super Mom!
Thank you, Annie! You know how difficult this is. Sending hugs! ?
I hope Yei turns the corner on this soon! Hang in there, mom!
Thank you, Nancyleandros! ?
Speedy recovery to Yei and hugs to you!
Thank you, Tulipani! ?
Hugs to Yei. Poor pup!
Thank you, Sistine!
Sending hugs to Yei! I hope he’s feeling better very soon.
Thank you, Gail!
Aw, poor Yei. On the plus side, he has you looking after him. Hugs to you both.
Thank you, Jalapeno! ?
SOTD yesterday: Santal Majuscule. Commando so far today.
Thank you to OldHerbaceous for the Live in Love link to her blog.
I’ve checked in sporadically over the past two weeks, but have been too busy to comment.
The only news here is that my husband and I finally made the effort to get vaccinated. We got the Janssen/J&J one. He was feverish and had a really sore arm for a day and I had… nada. Nothing. Never felt better. I am actually slightly concerned that mine was from a dud batch or something. Will check my antibodies in 3 weeks and HOPEFULLY I’ll have some!
I had to laugh because I would be thinking the same thing! Of course if I had a bad side effect, I would be more nervous. Fingers crossed for antibodies! And good to see you ?
Waving a very enthusiastic “Hello”!!
So glad you had a nice outing with your aunt. After we got our shots, the hubby and I went out to lunch. Our restaurant was also COMPLETELY empty. So sad. I hope the hospitality industry can recover. And I hope you can sort out your daughter’s therapy with your insurance. My youngest has made huge strides over the past two years. The reasons as far as I’m concerned: A new school where they just treat him like any other (very asocial) kid, he has started exercising and he eats three eggs for breakfast every morning. Hope spring comes early to your neck of the woods.
Thank you! I decided to put her back in school 2 days a week since therapy is being cut. The older she gets, the less interested people are in trying to help her. It’s very disheartening, and makes me angry.
So sorry, lillyjo, it is heartbreaking to hear stories like yours. Especially, as a former teacher, your story makes me cringe. I worry so much about my kids. They are all very special, unique and deserve to be treated and taught as individuals.
I am so sorry for you and your daughter. It makes me mad too! Between my two kids and me, I figure I’ve put five people through Harvard Medical School on therapy payments alone. But some kids really need the help. Terrible to take it away.
Nope, I’m sure you got the real thing–everyone is reacting differently to these. You can celebrate that you are vaccinated AND you felt fine!
I’m wearing Jo Malone vanilla and anise. The good news is that it is no longer discontinued! But I haven’t smelled the “new” one, and it appears to be online only.
Oh wow, I love this one! Glad to hear it is available again.
They’ve brought back a number of discontinued scents BUT I did find one of them recently in a local store, so they may be stocking them in some places?
That would be nice to smell before you buy!
Oh hey, scent twins today!
You smell great!
Acqua die Parma Iris Nobile which apparently has notes of anise.
Love that one – is it the EDP version or the EDT?
EDP, I’ve never tried the EDT. I love this scent, although I don’t get that much Iris from it. Just a brilliant floral.
Oh, that one is so pretty!
It is, I got it ages ago in a lovely LE bottle.
Happy Thursday! Not much left until weekend 🙂
I’m in Diptyque Oud Palao today and I just came up with a perfume I’m going to wear tomorrow for our absinthe theme.
Was too lazy to post yesterday but SOTM is Lyric. Going to get into the shower in a few minutes. I am debating on either Theorema or Shalimar Ode a la Vanille today. Memoir is tomorrow’s SOTD for the CP.
Well, all those options sound great!
Wearing Chypre Mousse for the fennel note. It took me a while from finding this a strange scent to owning a bottle, although I did a bottle split. I could never use all up in a lifetime.
Boiled cauliflower with tsatsiki for dinner and I have an online seminar later in the evening.
Dang, that has a fennel note on you!?!?! I love that one, even though it is weird, it is also wonderful. But it has never, ever smelled even close to fennel on me. Amazing!
I do get a fennel note with Chypre Mousse, but plenty of other things along with it like mushrooms and damp soil.
Thursday and almost 12 noon already! The week is flying.
Coeur de Vetiver Sacre for me today.
My stomach lets me know when noon is coming up
I’m wearing Vanilla Vibes today, and it really is a nice salty, beachy thing that really hangs on. It’s pretty cold again, though, so all I have of the beach are its vibes.
I could use some beach vibes here! Good call.
Trying Falling Leaves from the Regimes des Fleurs sample set. It’s wonderful! Juicy, resinous juniper dominates for me, with fresh and dry wood underneath, and a hint of dry leaves and oakmoss. Smells like being deep in a mountain forest early on dry, crisp fall morning. I also get a tiny bit of smoke, but I think that is just my brain associating all of these scents with how a campsite smells in the morning, because camping is the only time I’m in the forest early in the morning.
I want to spray this on a wool blanket and go sit outside all wrapped up with a thermos of tea. But for today, I’ll just have to look out the window behind my computer monitor and sniff my wrist while tackling a mountain of COVID-related work issues. At least I have the thermos of tea tho – today I’m back to Kusmi’s Anastasia.
That description makes me want that scent right now!
After about three hours, all that was left was a cedar-y dry wood note. But that opening was great.
That sounds incredible!
I wish the longevity was better, but I would happily carry a travel spray around and reapply to get that great opening every few hours.
PdE Ambre Russe – doesn’t fit the CP, doesn’t fit the spring day we’re having, but I wanted to try this out again before all winter scents get put away in a box – our season for cozy scents is really short!
I’ve been planning forever to buy a sample of Immortelle Corse, and I think today I’ll finally hit buy. I always try to optimize the purchase by finding enough samples to justify shipping etc…and always draw a blank.
I meant to try IC and never did.
Good Morning!
1) Light filled morning in Portland. We should be getting rain later on, so am going on a quick 1 hour walk!
2) SOTD: Wonderland Peony from Floral Street(from a sample). A lovely, non powdery sheer floral with a hint of fruitiness BUT no sugary tones. Really pretty, and this would be a great office scent as well as a lovely and uplifting scent for WFH.
Floral Street caught my attention from Instagram- I bought their sample set. So far, I think they are VERY nice indeed; I think the scents marketing is for a younger audience BUT I like what I am trying so far! I think they are at Sephora now as well, but only the travel and full size bottles, not the sample set.
Hope you managed your walk before the rain! Your quick walk is much longer than my quick walk!
SOTD is L’heure Bleue for the anise. I’ve never connected to this scent the way I want to, but I’ve only tried the EDT. Perfect match on paper, but the spark isn’t there.
I’m about halfway through a 93ml refill bottle of the stuff – a decade on from buying it, and have never managed to adore it the way I want to, given it’s name and mythos!
Sounds like you definitely put in the effort, at least!
In case I don’t make it by tomorrow, going for partial CP credits today with Jacques Fath Green Water, from the current sample set. It was very faint when I did 5 or 6 spritzes; I have not noticed it all day; then a co-worker told me I smelled good. Huh. Before I forget: thank you to whomever (uh-oh grammar day..I think that’s right) recommended “Love and Hisses” cat rescue website with the adorable kitten birth countdown last week. That was a nice little escape: better than some made up TV show any day in my book. Spoiler: six healthy kittens arrived!
Aren’t they the cutest little things? Calypso clued me in on that IG account, so we can both thank her. ?
I could use another source of cute and furry!
SOTD is Carthusia 1681. It’s a lovely, herbal sandalwood – I thought it might have a fennel note among all the other herbs, but apparently it doesn’t so no CP points for me today.
I have no points so far this week at all…
Good morning all! It’s a beautiful clear sky this morning, but the days are getting shorter and there is a nip in the air. I wore a light summery dress to work yesterday, and was quite cold when I walked home at 6.30pm. Even so, I’ll stick with the summery dresses for a little but longer.
Perfume today will be Annick Goutal’s Ninfeo Mio, I haven’t worn it for a long while.
My beloved says thank you for all the birthday wishes yesterday for his 64th 🙂
The one time of year our weather overlaps!
Hi, All!
I finally tried Frederic Malle collection and I lived Perfum de Therese very much!
It is my favorite of the bunch and I bought 10 ml
It is very feminine and a bit old fashioned. It reminded me of Fleurissimo by Creed and Aqua di Gio
I was afraid I would be dissapointed after a couple of wearings because feminine fragrances bore me after few wears but I am still loving it. Finally a friend for my Vol de Nuit on the shelf =) It is a pity the bottle is not that nice though =) I am a sucker for beautiful old fashioned bottles =D
I wanted my husband to try some Ellena creations but ended with a bottle of Roudnitska for myself 😀
My H loved L’eau d’Hiver but they didn’t have a 10 ml of it. We are coming back for more soon =) I hope I will restrain myself from buying a full bottle of Terese)
That’s really a gorgeous scent. Glad you’re enjoying it!
Therese and Eau d’Hiver are both lovely, enjoy!
Such a great scent! I don’t wear it enough.
Wearing Historiae Bouquet du Trianon, an homage to Marie-Antoinette .It’s a very pretty light tuberose (and tuberose can be difficult, too heady for me but not here) rose and honeysuckle scent with a note of beeswax, light but tenacious, would work even better in warmer weather.
Nice that you found a tuberose you can enjoy!
Thank you, Lillyjo, it really is an inoffensive tuberose part of a bouquet of other flowers. I recall that for you it’s orange blossom which can be a problem.
Yay for finding a tuberose you get along with!
Thank you, it’s such an easy going scent but probably not that easy to find (I won mine on ebay uk for very little), it smells like spring. Do you like tuberose straight up like in Carnal Flower? Or more blended?
I rather enjoy Carnal Flower, so I can handle tuberose just fine.
I was lucky enough to smell a sprig of fresh tuberose flowers before I ever smelled any perfumes that had it as a primary note.
Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise is my SOTD. A lovely green, herbal vanilla. I’ve taken care of something I’ve been putting off and am shortly taking care of another such thing. Feels good! It’s not fun to have anxiety that convinces you everything is going to be harder than it actually is.
I totally understand about thinking a task will be more difficult or daunting than it ends up being.
You smell great. And I am with you on anticipatory anxiety. I put things off for ages because of dread and it just prolongs the misery.
Yay for knocking things off the list!
I’m in Penhaligon’s Lothair, Duchaufour being the nose. Spices and some grapefruit, plus some lavender in the opening. Really nice, this one! I was in Memoir Woman yesterday, so I guess I get retroactive points.
I made Brie Pecan Quesadillas on a Zoom cookalong on Monday night and they were yummy. We shared the leftovers for lunch just now. These are too rich to go in the regular rotation, but I’m tucking the idea away for when the world allows company, parties, celebrations….
What kind of tortillas?
8” flour.
Robin, I’ve been meaning to ask, when do you anticipate holding the next swap meet? I’ve been going through and finding things to pass along, so I’m trying to plan what I should do with them (swap, sell, freebie).
Right now I have a swap meet tentatively scheduled for April 24. If that works out we would have a splitmeet in May. I don’t know that we’ll do an official freebie this spring — I do think people have been giving lots of stuff away in the regular sotd polls, and I think that might be best for now.
Good to know – thanks!
SOTD Trudon Olim. Thanks to the person who wore it earlier this week and mentioned it has an anise note!
I’m quite busy at work today, but it’s mostly good. I just feel a bit frazzled, because it’s several different projects/tasks being juggled. I’m looking forward to the weekend to play with some new scents! I made a very naughty purchase at Neiman’s because they had that offer AND it’s my birthday month. I also wanted to support my local SA and while she wasn’t there, her coworker gave me plenty of samples with my purchase.
I love that little snap of adrenaline when the SA hands you a bunch of samples!
Oooh, what did you get?
I got Iris Torrefie! There goes my perfume budget for the year. ?
It’s so lovely though. I love the iris, and the drydown. I don’t get much of a coffee note, which is fine by me. I’m very much looking forward to wearing it a lot this spring.
I really like IT. Congrats on your new bottle!
I love IT as well, enjoy your bottle!
Happy Birthday month and wear the perfume in good health!
Congrats on your sample haul!
Enjoy your new bottle and fun samples!
I’m twins with BobH in Fou d’Absinthe. I don’t wear it very often because it’s kind of weird. As in sour. This reminds me of the beautiful scene in Coppola’s Dracula where the dapper vampire takes Mina to an absinthe parlor. She looks down into that glass of green liqueur and starts to feel dizzy and have visions…. It’s scary but also very sexy. Gary Oldman was so good in that role.
I found the scene! Well with a watch!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhFFOsikyQ0
I love this movie!
Crazy busy with work today but I am wearing and comparing Pacifica Island Vanilla and Sugared Amber Dreams…both are hitting the spot!♥️
Sounds like a perfect mix for a too busy day!
Woo hoo….probably great layered!
Sunny and freezing out! Romance is really pretty, so maybe that.
Anyone tried Bibliophile? It looks great. I have lots of books to clear out and it looks better than ebay.
Off to PT! Have a great day, all!
Glad to see you here, Annieperfumes! Hope you PT goes well! You too have a great day! ?
Nice to be with you ❤.
I got incredibly lucky on the Walgreen’s COVID-19 site yesterday and get my first vaccination tomorrow, the next in four weeks. I only have to drive 88 miles each way which I am happy to do. I’m wearing Rhubarb Ecarlate.
Hooray!
w00t w00t w00t!
Commando – got my first shot today. Pfizer. I was nauseous after, probably because I skipped breakfast. Chicken soup and a short nap fixed it.
Thought about trying Chanel 1957 again and re-read the notes on Fragrantica. SO MUCH MUSK. Hard no, another for the discard pile.
Happy Grammar Day, fellow nerds.
I’m glad you’re feeling better!
Thank goodness for chicken soup!
I’m wearing Gallivant’s Brooklyn today. It’s just a sunny happy scent to me and that’s what I wanted.
Sunny and happy is the way to go, sometimes.
Wearing Pandora today. This is the last tiny bit of a sample; a little goes a long way with this scent. It’s just glorious! Thanks again, h!
? I should wear it soon!
Getting my anise in with Lolita Lempicka. Glad to hear about so many people getting their COVID-19 vaccines. I got mine early on, being in healthcare. Enough of my family have either had COVID or been vaccinated that we are finally going to be able to get together Easter weekend for my mother’s 80th birthday (only about 49 weeks late, but she’ll still be 80!). Luckily, she and my dad were vaccinated rather than ill.
You smell great, and how nice to be able to have a family Easter!
I heard that there has been a very large earthquake off the coast of New Zealand (magnitude 8.1). I hope that everyone has evacuated the coasts and that the NZ contingent of NSTers are safe and sound.
Laundry and other mundane tasks this afternoon.
SOTD = SSS Incense Pure, inspired by Hajusuuri wearing it yesterday. I can only do 2 or 3 sprays of this one, max!
Oh I didn’t hear about the earthquake. I hope everyone is ok!
It was breaking news late this afternoon. I heard about it around dinnertime.
Oh no!! Hoping our NSTers are safe and that there is no tsunami.
I didn’t hear about New Zealand. We have an office there although nowhere near the epicenter. And you smell great!
SOTD = BDK Parfums Tabac Rose
Nice, smells familiar and still FB-worthy for me! There are so many notes which I will summarize ? as spicy, sweet, fruity rose, chocolate, vanilla, tobacco patchouli incense. Longevity is quite good, clocking in at 12 hours. YMMV.

I occasionally order from Amazon because, let’s face it, it has just about everything under the sun. I recently bought Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ One Hundred Years of Solitude in both Spanish and English. The Spanish book was fine but the English translation was bound incorrectly, with 15 leaves from the back of the book bound upside down at page 85. What the —? As if I had time to resolve this issue! To my surprise, it was actually quite easy, especially with Whole Foods being a drop off center. I don’t even have to package it … I just had to bring it to a Whole Foods, give them a code and they take care of it! I decided to also address something that occurred in November 2020 where I couldn’t figure out how to request a credit for an undeliverable item. I used the Call Me feature which was easy peasy.
While I like to support local merchants, sometimes online “big box” is the way to go.
This is good to know. There is a Whole Foods being built here right now. I’m excited to check it out once it’s done.
And it is great to have Prime membership too!
Those owls are so darn cute!
Thank you. It was an impulse buy from Home Goods while waiting for a register.
I like Tabac Rose a lot too when I sampled it. I think it reminded me of VCA Rose Rouge, by the same perfumer. Although I think Tabac Rose is deeper.
I found Tabac Rose a lot less sweet than Rose Rouge. Rose Rouge reminds me of Lancome Parfait de Rose.
I should do a side x side!
I think I was mostly trying to convince myself I don’t need Tabac Rose, since I have Rose Rouge! ?
You smell great and I love those owls!
Thank you. They smell good too!
MANY years ago I managed to read a good part of it in Spanish…doubt I could now.
I am embarking on a mission…1 chapter in English first, then the Spanish.
Late reply, but good idea.
I think at some point, that was one of the books I had with English on one side and Spanish on the other, that was very helpful. Don’t know if they still make those editions.
I wore 10 Corso Como today, because it has been mentioned here lately. I started getting a tickle in my throat, so I am going to bed early. I’m hoping I can sleep through the night.
Uh oh. I hope that a good night’s sleep gets rid of that tickle! ??
Thanks jalapeno. I blame my sick co-worker from the other day. I told my boss too, that I didn’t think he should have let the guy work at all! I can’t afford to be unwell.
Argh! I had some inconsiderate co-workers like that in the past. I always wanted to kick them in the shins when they came to work sick.
Got some Vitamin C around?
Feel better soon, Lillyjo!
So sorry about the throat tickle. I’m amazed that one year into a massive pandemic that anyone can even think about coming in to work sick! Hope you feel better tomorrow.
Good luck, hope you feel better!
Hope you get a good night’s sleep. Sorry about your inconsiderate co-worker! Can you go to Human Resources if your boss doesn’t intervene somehow?
Vitamin C, Zinc, on the double. Gargle with salt! I hope it’s jist that, a tickle.
