London-based niche line Gallivant will launch Bukhara, the latest in their series of "urban exploration" fragrances, later this month.
A fairytale Uzbek city on the Silk Road. Fruits and spices – sophistication and adventure. A journey into Central Asia.
Bukhara is an earthy perfume, composed around the enigmatic orris – one of perfumery’s most prized (and expensive) raw materials.
Spicy, fruity and sparkling in the opening with caraway, pear, coriander and bergamot.
A floral heart with orris and a touch of jasmine. Clove and apricot enrich the colours and textures.
And a base of benzoin resin, saffron, amber, wood and cotton-soft musks.
The woody floral iris was developed by perfumer Ralf Schwieger.
Gallivant Bukhara will be available in 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

I loved Iris Nazarena from Ralf Schwieger so I’m looking forward to smelling new Gallivant.
Me as well!
This just sounds delightful. I will definitely sample this at some point!
Have sampled this and it’s a definite thumbs up for me! Spicy and earthy are good ways to describe it and I love the dry down.
That sounds fantastic. I’m survits not in my price range. I love clove in a perfume, in anything.
