Aha, who knew I could run through so much hand sanitizer? A possible addition to my collection, although I don't know if the alcohol level is high enough: Aesop's Resurrection Rinse-Free Hand Wash, with mandarin, rosemary and cedar. "An alcohol-based hand wash to cleanse and refresh. The perfect, pocket-sized product to ensure perpetually clean hands. When fresh water is unavailable, this gentle formula will kill bacteria and combat contagions, simultaneously delivering moisturising agents to ensure hands aren't stripped of moisture. The essential companion for those who travel by public transport." 50 ml for $10 at Luckyscent.

I just got on their site and it’s 58-62%. Not enough. This was in chat with someone on the Aesop site.
Ah, thanks Calypso. So possibly a useful product, but not for covid purposes.
For public transportation and / or opening doors, I keep a supply of napkins (I miss $tarbuck$ ?) and use it as a barrier between my hand and the surface. I also use my foot or even my elbow. The elbow is a little bit more precarious because if it’s a door, it could swing back quickly and bump the elbow…on several occasions, I hit my elbow hard enough to bruise (for days and once for months).
Ouch!
P, I used to have a very refined mass transit technique, too…I haven’t touched a subway pole since my 20s. 😉
LOL…I try very hard to not even take the subway.
