500 bottles and almost half a million Australian dollars later

Posted by Robin on 19 December 2019 12 Comments

Back then I had a rule – you don’t buy it if you can’t afford the rent! Now, there’s a glass cabinet in every room. My husband is very patient.’

Isn’t it, though? I can kinda relate, on a much smaller scale. I’d hate to count all the lipsticks I own. ?

I have spent a small fortune on my 140 bottle collection. Do I know the grand total that I have spent? Nope but it’s up there. Can’t imagine having that large of a collection.

I don’t want to know what I spent either, and wish I’d stopped buying large bottles long before I did.

I would love the Lalique bottle but man oh man those Revlon Couturines doll lipsticks are so cool!

I hate to say it but my first thought was “only 500 bottles”, what’s the big deal? I don’t know how many I have but it’s way, way more. Not bragging, merely stating a fact.

I can certainly imagine owning 500… but not spending $500K on them! We need to teach her our shopping tricks.

I can’t believe it! I HAVE that dragonfly bottle! My friend gave it to me because she knows I love perfume. It isn’t in fantastic shape and I hunted for the longest time to figure out what it was.
I’d sell it for that and split it with her!
