My temptation this morning: the Sava Trilogy from Imaginary Authors. "The most enduring writer of Josh Meyer's Imaginary Authors stable, Philip Sava was a genre-bending, globe-traveling, deeply confessional novelist presented as part Hemingway, part Hunter S. Thompson. Now, all three scents in the Sava collection are available as an olfactive trilogy: Memoirs of a Trespasser, Cape Heartache, and O, Unknown!, each in a generous yet portable 14ml travel spray." $95 at Luckyscent.

Definitely putting this collection on my list. I’m a fan of each of the scents (and most of Imaginary Author’s offerings) and the travel sprays are perfect for travel. The Soft Lawn and Saint Julep were staples last summer.
I am thinking about it. I wish Sava had written Yesterday Haze instead of Cape Heartache 😉
This is very tempting.
Yep!
Oooo crap. This is a tempting blind buy. Must not succumb.
Oh, I would really not buy it blind! Don’t do it!
Ok. Are they polarizing? I was tempted because of how loved they have been here! (Though I should know better.)
I would not go so far as polarizing, no, but there are 3 of them, how likely is it you will love all 3? Surely you have heard about great things here before, and then discovered you did not love them 😉
Then again, I don’t know your financial situation. If you would not mind spending that much for scents you don’t like, why not?
If you *would* mind, you can pick the 8 samples you want to try for the “Short Story Collection” and get them all for $38, I think that’s a way more sensible way to start off. There are 13 scents, so just knock off the ones you think you won’t love.
I most certainly would mind, so your idea is a great one! Thanks!
