Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Giverny In Bloom ~ new perfumes

Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Giverny In Bloom

Indie line Dawn Spencer Hurwitz has launched the Giverny in Bloom collection, a new series for the Denver Art Museum exhibit In Bloom: Painting Flowers in the Age of Impressionism. The fragrances include Giverny In Bloom, La Danse des Bleus et des Violettes, l’Opera des Rouges et des Roses and Le Jardin Vert.

Have a chance to sense the “Giverny In Bloom” scent experience created for Denver Art Museum’s “In Bloom – Impressionist and Post Impressionist flower paintings” exhibit wherever you may be. DSH has created Monet’s garden at Giverny in 3 accords to create the full panoramic effect: Le Jardin Vert (the green foliage, trees, and moist earth), La Danse des Bleus et des Violettes (the gauzy dance of violets, irises, and lilacs), and l’Opera des Rouges et des Roses (the dramatic opera of old roses, peonies, and carnations). The scent experience all came together to a final piece with each accord woven together, which is the “Giverny In Bloom” scent: the aroma created in the scent experience space.

Giverny In Bloom ~ "An impressionist style perfume of green budding trees, wet dewy flowers and soil, that transforms to a rich floral bouquet as it wears." In Eau de Toilette or Parfum, $5 - $155.

La Danse des Bleus et des Violettes ~ "An impressionist approach to a garden of blue and violet flowers: violets, irises, and lilacs, with a moist, softly mineral feel and delicate woody drydown." In Eau de Toilette or Voile de Toilette, $5 - $150.

l’Opera des Rouges et des Roses ~ "A classical floral bouquet of peony, old roses, carnation, and grandiflorum jasmine with oriental-animalic hints in the drydown." In Eau de Parfum or Voile de Parfum, $5 - $230.

Le Jardin Vert ~ "A densely green, leafy fragrance construction designed to depict the foliage, flowering trees, and moist rich soil of the garden. Moss, woods, and minerals build the drydown base. Fabulous for men and women alike." In Eau de Parfum or Voile de Parfum, $5 - $150.

Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Giverny In Bloom, La Danse des Bleus et des Violettes, l’Opera des Rouges et des Roses and Le Jardin Vert are available in a variety of sizes and formats, including a discovery set ($24) and a coffret of mini flask bottles (shown above; $70).

Ooh, Le Jardin Vert has piqued my interest! Wonder if the range is available in the UK…

I don’t think so, but not 100% positive.

I like her work. I think I’ll get some samples of these. Monet is a favorite artist. I’ve made (admittedly not great but pretty in their own right) copies of several of his paintings and have them hanging in my office at work and in family member’s houses. It would be fun to have a scent to go with them…

She is also offering a set of 3ml mini sprays of this set for $48.00, in addition to the options listed above….(hmm, no affiliation, just dispensing more info…)
