DKNY Women Summer & DKNY Men Summer 2015 ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 9 April 2015 2 Comments

DKNY Women Summer & DKNY Men Summer 2015

Donna Karan has launched the annual DKNY Women Summer and DKNY Men Summer fragrances for 2015.

Inspired by the vivacious energy and intensity of the summer heat, DKNY introduces a new luxuriously stimulating collection with DKNY Limited Edition fragrances for Men and Women.

DKNY Women Summer ~ "Bold, vibrant Spearmint fuses with luscious bursts of Sweet Orange and Grapefruit, while delicate Lily meets a hypnotic blend of spicy Carnation and lush Tiare flower. Layered undertones of sensual Patchouli and creamy Vanilla sit against Fir Balsam to create a mysterious aura."

DKNY Men Summer ~ "Juniper Berry and crisp Mandarin mix with spicy accents of Nutmeg to create a fiery energy. At the heart of the fragrance is a magnetic, modern fusion of Lavender, Clary Sage and Pomegranate. As the fragrance unwinds, balmy nuances of Tonka and intimate skin Musk combine with the sensual power of Patchouli for an irresistible warmth."

DKNY Women Summer and DKNY Men Summer are available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

The bottle/box colors seem mismatched to me…when I read the notes of the womens (spearmint, grapefruit. patchouli and fir balsam) I immediately thought “green” and the notes of the mens (mandarin, pomegranate, nutmeg) made me think “red”. I happen to like a bit of mint in my fragrance …based on the descriptions they both sound interesting but one must sniff first as I have often been disappointed…..

I never see these in any case, but I do think you’re right!
