Monkey man

Posted by Robin on 28 October 2014 16 Comments

Model Benjamin Eidem in the new ad for Michael Kors for Men. There's blue water, abs, kissing, a plane, a helicopter, a fast car, a perfect downtown apartment, a sexy girl, retro-chic sunglasses and a beach with palm trees (not necessarily in that order). Plus Mick Jagger singing. If only they'd added a big cat (or a snake, or both), it would have every cliché necessary to successfully market a new fragrance for men. Alas, they forgot the big cat.

You can’t always get what you want.

Definitely needs a cat, preferably a tiger. And hell, why not throw in some explosions a-la Michael Bay style for good measure. ;)

Wow…talk about clichés. Bring back the Old Spice man on a horse! He’ll show the pretty boy in the helicopter how a real man gets around! Seriously, Robin, I hope you will look into the fragrance. I smelled a scent strip and read a little about it. It’s supposed to have sandalwood and thyme…things you do not frequently find in scents. It did not smell like everything else out there. Maybe Kevin can give us his thoughts on it?

He spends his time in the healthiest was possible on earth:
Working out, eating right, making love, vacationing on desert paradise-like islands etc.
And of course embezzling millions, creating ponzi schemes, making trips to meet with Columbian cartel lords…
Never leaves home without his 3 pound bottle of Michael Kors Man tucked in his LV crocodile overnight tote!

Well, on the upside…nice abs and facial hair! It must be some kind of a bass- akward style statement -he shaves his chest and lets his facial grow. Interesting.

Interestingly, she was more completely dressed than he was, and she seemed to be spending less time grooming.
