Providence Perfume Co ~ new natural perfume oils

Posted by Robin on 8 October 2014 7 Comments

Providence Perfume Co Orange Blossom Honey, Summer Yuzu, Ivy Tower, Sweet Jasmine Brown, Violet Beauregarde

Providence Perfume Co has launched a collection of natural perfume oils. The six fragrances include Orange Blossom Honey, Summer Yuzu, Ivy Tower, Sweet Jasmine Brown, Violet Beauregarde and Rose 802.

A collection of concentrated all natural perfume oils housed in milk glass roller bottles. Perfectly portable and easy to wear, these beautiful natural perfume oils may become your favorite go-to scents!

Orange Blossom Honey ~ "A celebration of honey bees and all their generous gifts. Sparkling notes of citrus give way to warm honey with a hint of musk. Buzzzzz worthy. Notes: honey, vanilla, neroli, balsam, tonka, orange blossom, ginger, sweet orange"

Summer Yuzu ~ "Sweet summer citrus. Fresh, clean and fruity with predominant notes of yuzu, a Japanese citrus fruit with the mouthwatering aroma of grapefruit, mandarin, lemon and bergamot. Summer Yuzu is the perfect uplifting scent to wear to evoke a sunny disposition. Notes: sunflower, cedrat, aglaia blossom, yuzu, tomato, pink grapefruit, frankincense"

Ivy Tower ~ "A delicate green floral evocative of a rain soaked path through the ivy. Spring flowers collect raindrops. Ivy Tower begins verdant and fresh with geranium and ivy accord and becomes a crystalline white floral with rare essences of narcissus, mimosa and jasmine on a bed of sandalwood. Notes: narcissus, mimosa, blue tansy, lily, sandalwood, geranium, jonquil, jasmine"

Sweet Jasmine Brown ~ "Inspired by the jazz standard Sweet Georgia Brown. Feminine, sassy and sweet with a crescendo of seductive jasmine. Notes: jasmine, vanilla, pink pepper, tonka, cocoa nib, ylang ylang, musk ambrette"

Violet Beauregarde ~ "A nod to Roald Dahl and the magic of Willy Wonka. A sheer violet floral enhanced with hints of bubbly ylang ylang. Ylang Ylang, a tropical white flower native to Madagascar is used to flavor bubble gum and adds a sweet effervescent pop to the perfume. Our Violet Beauregarde perfume is must try for violet lovers. Notes: ylang ylang, violet leaf, alpha ionone, vanilla, sandalwood, mimosa, jasmine"

Rose 802 (shown below) ~ "Inspired by summers spent in Vermont where the warm summer breeze is heavy with the scent of wild roses and blackberries amid the tall trees. A sophisticated rose with hints of cedar, black currant and vanilla. Notes: rose, black currant, cedar wood, fir, vanilla, bergamot, myrtle"

Providence Perfume Co Rose 802

Providence Perfume Co Orange Blossom Honey, Summer Yuzu, Ivy Tower, Sweet Jasmine Brown, Violet Beauregarde and Rose 802 are $50 each for 5 ml Perfume Oil rollerball.

These sound nice. Love the name “Violet Beauregarde,” and think I would probably love the scent “Ivy Tower,” but to be honest they all sound attractive.

I know these are perfume oils and presumably fairly concentrated, but I prefer a little more sillage than I usually get from oils, and I’m finding the price a little steep.

Ditto…would rather have small EdP sprays. But I would not be surprised if perfume oils are more popular with natural perfume consumers in general.

All the same, a number of these are really tempting!

Orange blossom honey sounds nice. I want them just for the pretty boxes! Too bad the designs aren’t on the bottles.

Yes, the boxes are stunning! At least the rollerballs are opaque glass.

This packaging really turns me on, but I’m not a big fan of oils, though I own a few. Providence does a good job. I highly recommend the Orange Blossom body oil, which is a huge bargain.

Darn, you reminded me again, Joe. I keep meaning to order it. Really quite impressed by the quality of many of her products — and usually, the price, although I do find these a bit expensive. Also in the “not generally a fan of oils” camp.
