I think that’s the idea…it’s like she’s looking for drugs but goes off to find her perfume.

Well, maybe so, but that has little to do with the fragrances.

I have never been impressed with Edie as a model. I absolutely despised that print series she did for Marc Jacob a few years ago: she had this vacant look and her mouth slack-jawed open, it was horrid. One image spoiled it for me and I haven’t liked her since LOL

I’m totally unfamiliar with her, but vacant, slack jawed look pretty much describes her here. This is better than I expected from the teasers, but still, not all that compelling.

Interesting! I personally liked the teasers that you posted on Saturday way better (for me this one was just usual / boring to watch — all the running was repetitive and they even had the guy show up … 🙁

Agree w/ the repetitive part. Most of these ads also end up being better in their short (20 second or so) TV versions.

This ad…Black Opium for women is soo good your male drug dealer will steal it? Or she had no money to pay for drugs, so dealer stole perfume and is going to sell it on Ebay for 3x the price after diluting it.:)..or he’s going to give it to his wife:).

I’m wondering if Black Opium is going to be given the same treatment as Coco Noir. Pink is the new black?

Jungle is right, there’s every creature living in there…time to comb out the critters.

Continuity thing: sometimes she’s running in heels, sometimes barefoot.

    Edie Campbell…
didn’t like her for Cacharel Amor Amor Forbidden Kiss and still don’t like her.
looks like she can’t express emotions at all (besides emo-stoned obviously)
