Floris Honey Oud & Leather Oud ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 30 May 2014 4 Comments

Floris Honey Oud & Leather Oud

British perfume house Floris will launch Honey Oud and Leather Oud, two new fragrances exclusive to Harrods and celebrating the brand's "unique position as [Harrods'] longest serving supplier". Honey Oud and Leather Oud were developed using oud "from a certified sustainable source of agarwood".

Honey Oud ~ "Honey Oud opens with a gourmand accord of English honey and vanilla which combine to add a velvet softness to the Oud oil and accentuate the rose at the heart of this complex fragrance." Additional notes include bergamot, patchouli, amber, labdanum and musk.

Leather Oud ~ "Leather Oud takes inspiration from when new fragrance oils would be delivered to Floris in small leather cases, adding their scent to the overall aroma of the essences as they were opened. The freshness of new leather compliments and highlights the smoky aspects of the Oud oil. Glowing modern amber notes complete the harmony adding depth to the woody base accord." Additional notes include bergamot, carnation, geranium, patchouli and vetiver.

Floris Honey Oud and Leather Oud will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, £160.

Honey Oud sounds really yummy. I think I’d like to try that one!

For the most part I am sick of oud, but yes, Honey Oud got my attention too!

Yes, I know and agree. The Oud thing is just really nuts. Talk about jumping on the band wagon!
