Cartier Baiser Vole Lys Rose ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 24 May 2014 21 Comments

Cartier Baiser Volé Lys Rose

Cartier has launched Baiser Volé Lys Rose, a new fragrance for women. Baiser Volé Lys Rose is a flanker to 2011's Baiser Volé, and follows 2013's Baiser Volé Essence de Parfum.

A perfume that leaves a lingering trail. Every aspect of the lily, a flower of pure femininity, is explored for the first time. A flower of passion for highly charged emotions.

For Baiser Volé Lys Rose, the crystallized petals of a blooming pink lily are combined with subtle touches of raspberry to enhance the powdery and delicate note of Baiser Volé.

Baiser Volé Lys Rose was developed by perfumer Mathilde Laurent.

Cartier Baiser Volé Lys Rose is available now at Neiman Marcus, in 50 ($88) and 100 ($128) ml Eau de Parfum.

Wow, this sounds really nice. And, the bottle is soooo pretty! That would look good on my vanity.

The Baiser Vole line is one of my absolute favorites, so of course I’m looking forward to this! Say hello to Baiser Vole Pink. Haha. Crossing my fingers for a tart raspberry, and not candied, as I already have enough of that in my collection. Haha. : )

Yes, hope it isn’t massively sweet.

Why are so many of us attracted to girly pink fragrances? I tend to like neutral colors in my home decor and in my fashion sense (give me all black from head to toe and I am a happy camper), yet my frilly girly side goes into overdrive whenever I see a pink perfume with pink notes. God help me, it must be a sickness! 🙂

I must try this one and like the poster above, I hope the raspberry is more tart than sweet.

Ok, I did bad/good. Found a 50ml bottle on ebay for 45, so I bought it. Unsniffed, I know, but I love the Baiser Vole line! Crossing my fingers I adore it! Haha! ^_^

Please report back after you get a chance to smell it. I tried it at Nordstrom and really like it. I don’t think you’ll regret your blind buy. Good luck!!! :)))

Thanks Kelly 4! What is it like?! I guess it’s an edt, and not an edp. We’ll see when I get it. I will surely report back. ^_^

Hi jonr951, First let me tell you I’m not very good at picking out notes. I thought this smelled so pretty though. It’s very similar to the original with just a soft touch of raspberry. Sweeter but not fruity sickening sweet. Fresher too. Dang now I’m convincing my own self I need a bottle lol. On the Nordstrom website it says it’s an Edp. I’ve worn this for the last 2 days and it has great lasting power on my skin. Oh and the bottle awww super vibrant pink and girly. If you love this line, I think you will love this one too!!! One more thing I live in Southern California and the weather has been very warm here. I thought it bloomed beautifully.

I know I know. ;))) Thinking to myself oh shoot I hope I haven’t over sold it to you, made it sound too good. :D. On fragrantica all the reviews have been good too. I wear perfume every single day and again my husband complemented me on BVLR. I usually have to stick my arm right under his nose and ask him what he thinks lol. Poor dude. :-))

So I’ve been sick all week, but right now I finally got to spray my Lys Rose on, and actually smell it. Haha. And…drum roll please…it’s very pretty. I really really like it, and it’s perfect for the darn heat we’re having, but gosh, all I smell is the lily. Which really is just fine, as I love me some lily, but I was actually really looking forward to the raspberry twist. Maybe my sense of smell isn’t completely back yet. We shall see I guess. But hey, another welcomed lily to my collection. Thanks so much for our little back-and-forth kelly 4! You’re great fun, and I’m glad we both love our new bottles. And hey, if it passes the hubby test, it has to be great. ; )

Aww sorry you have been sick. I have been wearing this everyday for over a week. (Btw I never wear the same fragrance more then 2 days in a row.) On my skin the raspberry note is the strongest right in the beginning. Then I feel it’s kind if dries down to something between the original edp and the green edt concentration. Then low and behold here comes the raspberry note again, but much softer. It’s definitely a lighter fragrance. It has been great for these hot CA days. I like this line so much I’m thinking of getting the Baiser Vole Essence for the fall and winter. Have you tried that one?

SO glad you REALLY love it! And I got the Essence for Christmas last year! I ADORE it! I rarely use it cuz it’s like precious liquid gold to me. Haha! You have to have it! The Extrait will be mine one day. It’s FABULOUS! Have you tried it? : )

No I haven’t tried the extrait. I have heard great things about it though. So bummed because my local nordstrom use to have an extrait tester. Now they don’t. I should have tried it then darn it. I wonder if the Cartier store at South Coast Plaza would have a tester. Being Cartier and all. ;-)))
