Paco Rabanne used to launch some genuinely extraordinary scents (Calandre! Métal! Ténéré! LA NUIT!) but it’s been, what, ten years since they released anything novel and interesting and not bandwagony? Fifteen? Twenty?
But these actually sound promising. I’ll be on the lookout for them.
It’s been a long time. But the original Black XS was well done for what it is.
I don’t know about the women’s version, but the men’s Black XS is vile on me. Nostril-piercing woody strawberry, dialed up to 11. Rabanne’s 1 Million seems sophisticated by comparison.
Ouch!
Not a fan of the skull there, but I liked the original Black XS fair enough, and I’ll try anything with a prominent peach note.
The mandrake root might be fun too…
The original Calandre was wonderful. My sister’s favorite; I scour shops for the original.
Not a fan of the name at all, I’d sniff it if I saw it but ya, the skull and the name..not a fan.
