Le Labo Limette 37 ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 21 May 2013 16 Comments

Le Labo Limette 37

Le Labo has launched Limette 37, the new city-exclusive fragrance for San Francisco:

Don't expect Le Labo's San Francisco exclusive to be a chilly summer fog essence or the Golden Gate in a bottle.

Limette 37's reference to The City is abstract and delves into its olfactive construction that mimics the hilly ride from Le Labo's Fillmore street store to the bay. You start off with a view, with bergamote's freshness and light, before plunging into the warm and welcoming effects of jasmine, petit grain and clove that roll into luscious softness with vetiver, tonka beans and musks...

Limette 37 is an olfactive roller coaster, mingling an impression of cleanliness, freshness and well-being with that definite feeling that you are smelling special. In a good way of course.

Le Labo Limette 37 is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, and is available at the San Francisco Barneys or the Le Labo boutique on Fillmore Street.

I love making “limonade” for the summer, it’s very refreshing and energetic when drunk in hot days with few ice cubes added, delish!

I quite enjoy few of the Le Labo fragrances, particularly Rose 31 and Iris 39 (still didn’t manage to get a hold of samples of Neroli, Orange Blossom and Bergamote)

I’m looking forward to trying Limette 37, Hopefully someone will be able to score a sample for me. I’m also excited be their new LYS and YLANG.

I like the line too. Been a long time since they’ve released anything, glad to see them back in action.

I so dislike this single city trend. If you have a good product, why not make it available to your devoted customers?

They do seem to make them more widely available from time to time. But I don’t really like the concept either.

Aw, no! I was just at Barney’s in SF and didn’t smell this! I wish I would have. Sounds lovely.

“impression of cleanliness, freshness and well-being” sounds rather scary… but I hope they meant it “in a good way” ;)

      Lol Undina…

Reads like an ad for those single foil packet moist towelettes they give for your hands after a messy bbq-ribs dinner. ;0

But those towelettes do smell good … Fresh and clean with a hint of citrus.

“In a good way, of course.” Much better than the weirdness Turin and Sanchez quoted in the guide. I like that it’s kind of humorous, though I do cringe whenever I hear “well-being” used in copy.

Sounds lovely, but not at City Exclusive prices.

I won’t be going to San Francisco anytime soon but the SA at the Barneys Le Labo in midtown NYC mentioned that the City Exclusives will be available in-store sometime in September as part of some special event. I am so there!

CLEAN, associated with SF?? Pffft. Pffft, I say. That’s funny. Especially since just today I carried around garbage because I felt awkward throwing it out while someone rifled through it. Anyway, I need to smell this.

Hi Robin, perhaps you’ve already gotten a chance to smell it through your network of friends and connections, but if not, I’d be glad to send you a sample I got, for you to smell and review. I just really enjoy your reviews and would love to know what you think.

I believe they are sending me some, but if it doesn’t happen I may get back to you — many thanks!
