Neela Vermeire Créations will launch Ashoka, a tribute to the emperor of the same name (269-232 BCE) who converted to Buddhism after a series of military conquests.
Ashoka was developed by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. The notes feature fig leaves, leather, white and pink lotus, mimosa, fig milk, osmanthus, rose, water hyacinth, vetiver, styrax, incense, sandalwood, myrrh, tonka bean and fir balsam.
Neela Vermeire Créations Ashoka will be available in 55 ml Eau de Parfum; look for it to launch this fall.

Very intriguing list of notes. Will definitely at least get a sample of this.
Ditto!
I agree. I look forward to trying it.
Never have seen B.C.E., had to look up what that stands for.
Before the common era! =) A more secular version of “BC”.
Ya, I figured that out.
Never heard of Cramazing, kinda like that word.
It’s the new PC version of BC, yes 🙂
It’s still the same Gregorian calendar..hmmm…anyway:)…
I wonder what fig milk smells like?
Leather and fig sounds crazy and amazing. CRAMAZING.
Let’s hope!
Now that is an interesting list of notes. It’s going on my “must sample” list.
Also colour me intrigued. A beautiful mix of notes.
Ditto here. It’s on my “to test” list.
