Fragonard Mademoiselle Amour, Belle Cherie ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 5 March 2012 5 Comments

Fragonard Mademoiselle Amour

Last year, French perfume house Fragonard launched Mademoiselle Amour (shown) and Belle Chérie, two new fragrances for women:

Mademoiselle Amour ~ "An oilcloth bag covered in hearts hides a mirror and… A mischievous eau de toilette brimming with tenderness, offering a tangerine, strawberry and apple top note, a rose, jasmine and sweet pea middle note and a raspberry back note." In 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

Belle Chérie ~ "A bouquet of flowers, fruits, and wood to celebrate this carefree fragrance: A top note of tangerine and star fruit, a middle note of jasmine, heliotrope and lily-of-the-valley and a back note of sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla." In 200 ml Eau de Toilette.

Oh, goody, two more names to record and post!

‘A mischievous eau de toilette brimming with tenderness…’ I so love it when perfumes are said to have a temperament and emotions. LOL!

As do I, and even more so when they don’t “match” the notes.

That packaging for Mlle Amour is charming. I’d be tempted to buy it as a present for a young teen or tweenager – after a sniff test, of course, and if the price is right.

Where I live, teens no longer go for charming — they’d consider that whole package too young…so I’d say young tween or even younger than that.

Yes, I meant tween or younger but slipped up in the typing. In fact, it looks like the sort of present I would have given my mother when I was six or seven!
