More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.
From Humiecki & Graef, limited edition 100 ml porcelain bottles of Bosque (above left), Clemency (above right), Geste (below left) and Eau Radieuse (below right): "Brand founders Sebastian Fischenich and Tobias Müksch succeeded in engaging Dutch artist Wouter Dolk, world-renowned for his hand-painted, often floral-themed wallpaper, to create the stunning flacon designs...Each of the hand-made flacons was realized with meticulous attention to detail in collaboration with traditional Thuringian porcelain manufacturer Kämmer in the eastern German town of Rudolstadt. The designs were applied using a combination of traditional printing techniques and hand painting that goes back to the 18th century."
There will be 125 bottles made in each of the four designs. They are due to launch this fall. (via press release)
From Juicy Couture, a limited edition collector bottle of Viva La Juicy. 100 ml Eau de Parfum, $98 at Macy's.
Or if you prefer, Viva La Juicy in a solid perfume necklace. Also at Macy's, $48.
From Estee Lauder, White Linen in a solid perfume compact: "Give the gift of peace with this golden olive branch, set with deep blue stones." £75 at Harrods in the UK.
beautiful bottles. I would get them and dump the scent inside (if I didn’t like it) and fill up with other scents.
I want that Clemency bottle! Badly.
Those Humiecki & Graef bottles are to die for!
I know! It’s a shame that I have never been drawn by the descriptions of the scents.
Yep. They ought to find a way to do them (cheaper) & use those as their “regular” bottles.
The H&G bottles really are gorgeous, but not my idea of gorgeous for a perfume bottle.
I concur. Opaque white porcelain seems to suggest functionality rather than frivolity– in other words, these would be gorgeous for lotion or face cream, but somehow not perfume.
But it worked for Anais Anais, so maybe….
Oh, I love opaque bottles. And they keep the light off the juice, which is good 🙂
I might be way off base here but the actual Viva La Juicy bottle doesn’t really look any different??? Just the box it comes in??
Looks to me like it has a gold leaf sort of finish around the bottom…it’s easier to see if you go to Macy’s & use the zoom feature.
I can’t tell the difference between the ltd ed Juicy bottle and the original. only the box
The Viva IS a parfum. Macys fixed it. : )http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=617864&CategoryID=30140#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D21
So they did, thanks!
I tried the Viva today. It was fine but I don’t think I’ll need to get me a bottle. I mean I’ll take it as a gift for sure but that’s it. : )
